alright dammit...of all the glp posts this is the one to ge me to sign up...well it is a day before my dad killed himself a bit ago...and heres what i got to say on the issue...somebody had a quote in this post...be kind. everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle....and thats the dam truth...the world is brutal...it can be hard, it can drive people insane, suicide is a choce, really the only thing you should hold is pity for a person like that, to be driven to that, or to see so far off into the distance and see nothing but black, well thats sad knowing the gift life is, but surely you can some sympathy and no see this as a bragodocia issue, like life is some horrible conquest where only the brolic survive, it is a swarthing copperpot of emotions, chemicals questions and illusions and even on oppulent terms i would imagine, certain questions and pieces of you cannot be filled by material wealth or power and it leaves nothing, but chasing the past for security...a hollow existence we search for meaning, is none keep running the pursuit is the acheivement...hey it is glp i gotta be cryptic in the end...OFF TO THE NEXT BEER...

Its selfish as fuck. What about anything you life for? If its worth taking your own life, afraid of what's next? Misguided people can get a pass, but to do that is cowardous - afraid to live.

My feeling on it is that I can empathize and sympathize with people who feel that way...up until they actually do it. Reason: 1) The ripple affect that affects family, friends, etc. And 2) There's help.

If the demon did it, then that sin will rest on its head come judgment day. As far as "grave sin", I really don't think so. They are a lot of worse things you can do than reject your own life.

Lets face the facts. No everyone leads a blessed happy life. Some people are cursed and suffer a lot (remember the rich man and Lazarus) If Lazarus offed himself, I think the Lord would understand.

I have suffered much following the Lord, and honestly if it was not for my relationship with Him I would off myself too.

For Christians that choose to follow the Lord and carry their cross daily, death is a REWARD.

The problem is if you do it yourself it is considering QUITTING, whereas when He blesses you with it, is it considered a well deserved RETIREMENT.
