So what is your point. . . .the photo was presented by NASA to show the extent of contrail coverage in the southeastern US on one day in 2004. . . .they cherry picked it. . . . [ link to earthobservatory.nasa.gov] My point is, while it's not outright lying, it's somewhat dishonest ... like the fat chick cropping her picture to appear less fat on MySpace or Facebook: [ link to www.hippotoaster.com] In what way? This is a satellite photo. . . Which is infrared enhanced and clearly shows the massive trails and possibly their accompanying cirrus cloud banks covering a huge amount of sky in the southeastern US . . The trails and cloud complexes in the photo are possibly not even visible to the people on the ground because of the cloud cover and/or only visible in the infrared spectrum. . . .not in the visible spectrum. . . Also the trails are so wide they may only appear as wide cloud banks. . . . Because they may not be visible. . . Does not mean they are not there and having a significant climatic impact. . . how is that lying. . . . ?????
