ABSTRACT
Blogs represent an important new arena for knowledge discovery in open source intelligence gathering. Bloggers are a vast network of human (and sometimes non-human) information sources monitoring important local and global events,and other blogs, for items of interest upon which they comment. Increasingly, issues erupt from the blog world and into the real world. In order to monitor blogging about important events, we must develop models and metrics that represent blogs correctly. The structure of blogs requires new techniques for evaluating such metrics as the relevance, specificity, credibility and timeliness of blog entries. Techniques that have been developed for standard information retrieval purposes (e.g. Google's PageRank) are suboptimal when applied to blogs because of their high degree of exophoricity,quotation, brevity, and rapidity of update. In this paper, we offer new metrics related for blog entry relevance,specificity, timeliness and credibility that we are implementing in a blog search and analysis tool for international blogs. This tools utilizes new blog-specific metrics and techniques for extracting the necessary information from blog entries automatically, using some shallow natural language processing techniques supported by background knowledge captured in domain-specific ontologies.

Even the pentagon admits they have them, it's about thought control. Not the tin foil hat kind of of thought control. But controlling the propaganda that people latch on to.

Why? Because dishonesty is the norm today not the exception.

Proof? Obvious examples would be undercover cops, FBI, CIA, Military ext. But its worse than that. Look who we elected as President of the United States of America. Barrak Hussein Obama's own political ads in 2008 touted his experience as a "community organizer". More than 50% of the voters elected a person who studied and taught Saul Alinsky's rules for radicals to ACORN (a completely corrupt paid political organization) for the express purpose of overwhelming the system to bring it down and get what they wanted.

The feds are planning to monitor internet traffic at select government agencies and private businesses. Are we heading into "Big Brother" territory?

The federal government is launching a wide-reaching cyber-security initiative that will monitor the internet for attacks on government agencies and private firms, like utilities companies, deemed crucial to national security. Cyber attacks are a very real concern, but the program, dubbed "Perfect Citizen," will be run by the super-secretive National Security Agency and the contractor setting up the program, Raytheon, said in a leaked email: "Perfect Citizen is Big Brother." Is this a good idea?

Better cyber security helps us all: "Perfect Citizen" sounds "damn scary," says Casey Chan in Gizmodo, but the truth is that many of the aging computer systems we all rely on "could maybe use a big brother." And if it helps other U.S. companies, like Google, avoid costly security breaches, this could even be considered "charitable by our government" — as long as the feds don't "extend a peek into unimportant ol' me," of course.

Ofcause there is, some of our messages and words/blogs/threads will simply not show up on other peoples screens, though we can read it our self, then someone (hired) will simply "give you a carrot" a message or a reply just to make us feel that people acctualy had a chance to read it.
There are manny methods, one is allso to give different headlines to different users, manny people simply just talk to hired people and acctually think they are spreading their discovery/idea etc. and is infact not talking to the public at all

I have seen many MSM article about paid government internet dis-information agents. If they are real they are on GLP it is plane and simple. Why would GLP miss out on the government dis-information?

I never get carrots

Well, examples of undercover cops (local and federal) using the internet posing as drug buyers or teenagers looking for trouble with an adult make the nightly news with regularity now-a-days. ACORN and the SEIU pay people to go out and get people registered to vote and to buss groups of union thugs out to counter protest local citizens in areas where they do not live. It’s no stretch to imagine that those same people taking to the internet.

Obama is their leader.


They do waht they are paid to do.


This is more than volunteering. This is an organized buss ride to somewhere you don't live. Someone's paying for this to happen.

I don't mind caring. . . .I do mind aggressive, demeaning, condescending behavior. . . In saying that I do not imply you are doing that. . . .

I'm sure there are paid debunkers out there, but most of those accused of being shills on this forum are just people who state boring inconvenient facts when most members would rather believe in conspiracies, space aliens, etc.
