Akiane donates a portion of her artwork proceeds to formidable charities such as Kids Free the Kids (abuse, exploitation and slavery of children), Northwest Medical Teams (medical care, food and shelter for orphanages), PANCAN and MACC (cancer societies), Netherlands Kidney Foundation, needy children in Africa and Lithuania, local police and fire departments, Christian schools and churches, and many others.

Six years later it's not weird to the Idaho family of six anymore. Akiane's parents are now converts to her faith and her talent. Her paintings have sold for as much as $55,000. But that's where this little girl throws you another surprise. She's not keeping all that money.



"I want to help the whole world, continue helping the whole world," she said.

Akiane sells paintings and prints and gives substantial amounts of the proceeds to charity.

Her charity this weekend at gallery showings in Bellevue in Seattle is Northwest Medical Teams International: a Portland-based army of doctors and nurses who provide health care services to disaster zones and impoverished populations all over the world.

"It's like a mission for me," said Akiane. "And I want to complete it."

It is mentioned in the Quran how heaven would be like, and it is much better than this Imagination, because heaven is too wonderful that is much greater than human imagination, even though these paintings are wonderful, but some parts of earth look like these paintings.

This girl is not 12 anymore. She is an old teenage girl that has a lot of sex and is as normal as other girls in high school.
Also, she profits from christtards. LOL, there are more gifted kids than you think, and many don't lie to people and say they are communicating with god.

The girl is more gifted at conning christians than painting. And her painting is very good.

I think it's an interesting propostition -- and there is another case like this about a little girl, I believe, whose parents claimed she was painting these magnificent paintings and they sold them for a high dollar amount. The story has also been posted here.

A smart parent could stage it, or at the very least, sensationalize it and profit from it.

The same hoax model could work with any child:

"8 year-old boy creates astonishing Western bronzes! No explanation for his talent!"

Scam + Kid + Novelty made by adult attributed to kid + ??? + PROFIT!!!!

I've been watching her work evolve for years, and it's really inspired by something not of this world, IMO. You have to go to her web site and see her work over the years, and also her poetry is really insightful, and a lot to wrap your head around sometimes.

She seems to have an amazing talent yes. Her use of colors reminded me of the movie What Dream May Come with Robin Williams. It's an amazing movie even for someone like me who doesn't buy the religions of man, even for a man despite being a heavy love story, and especially for us artists because of the scenery and colors. think again... prophet said he saw the great city accending to earth... So infact heaven comes to earth and man shall dwell with God. You also forget John has visions of heaven as well as he described things to come. He wrote these things down somethings he was permitted to reveal some he wasn't. Had he been given a gift to paint these visions he would have done so.
For those that think his gifts shouldn't be profited from think again there. Solomen was the richest man ever and that came from his gift of wisdom. Believers have not for they ask not. Not too complicated. The idea that a Christian is supposed to live in poverty is absurd.
