I have posted this story before but in case anyone missed it, my Pastor was explaining about the importance of the ritual of baptism one Sunday. Please believe me that this isn't a man who simply went to Seminary but has written tons of books, earned his Masters and Doctorate and keeps up on world events.

He is much like Lee Strobel.

He told us a story that was so incredible I will never forget it.

Before he actually began preaching and was still in his decade of studying he attended a church where one of the most devoted Christians in the church was a man from Indonesia.

He was here legally but his his Visa was about to expire and he would return to his homeland where he wold be persecuted and most likely put to death for his belief in Christ.

The Minister of the church helped the man get everything prepared for the day they were to appear before the courts and plead to stay under threat of religious persecution.

When they stepped up to the bench with their bundles of paperwork the preacher began to explain what an excellent Disciple of Christ this man was.

The judge quickly cut him off and turned to the man, asking one question:

"Are you a baptized believer in Jesus Christ?"

The man replied, "Yes, Sir. I am."

The judge then asked the Minister, "Did YOU witness his baptism?"

The minister sadly shook his head, no. He had been baptized before finding this particular church.

The judge then asked, "Does your church accept this man's baptism to Jesus Christ?"

"Yes, we do."

The judge then dismissed them saying, "That's all I need to know."

The minister and the man started to panic, feeling they had not proven all the good this man has done in his church and community. The minister asked if he might be allowed to add a few more comments.

The judge said no and the two walked out, heavy-hearted.

A few days later they received word from the courts that the man granted permission to stay.

Now what the minister and the man didn't know is that there is a branch in our government that does nothing more than study the techniques used by Islam in order to gain admission into the USA for the purpose of harming us.

Indeed, the Koran allows lies be told in order to further the cause of Islam- with one exception:

Allah does NOT allow them to admit to being a baptized believer of Jesus Christ. EVER! Not under ANY condition!

Even they get it- that's a line in the sand that is NOT to be crossed. Even THEY recognize the importance of baptism.

And so it boils down to one fact with our government:

If you will not admit that you have been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ you are not allowed to stay on the grounds of "religious persecution".

I find that incredibly interesting.

God saw the importance of baptism.

Christ saw the importance as well.

Believers of the Koran understand that is an area that is NOT to be lied about.

And the Federal Courts have determined that with that one question they are able to weed out many who would kill us.


I'm sorry that was so long but I'm hoping anyone who has made excuses for not becoming baptized in Christ think about this for a while.

Hadiths are not the Quran. Allah did not reveal hadiths nor are they authorized as guidance.

Hadiths were written 200+ years after the time of Muhammad (pbuh) by al-Bukhari - a Persian jewish. Hadith are rife with errors, contradictions, and lapses of memory. So they are not from Allah because the Creator of all things does not make mistakes, nor does He forget.

"And thy Lord is never forgetful, Lord He of the heavens and earth and all that is between them. So serve Him, and be thou patient in His service; knowest thou any that can be named with His Name?" Surah 19:65

"Said Moses, 'The knowledge of them is with my Lord, in a Book; my Lord goes not astray, nor forgets --" Surah 20:52

So do not point to hadith and tell me that is the Quran, because it is not nor will they ever be.

Same here , I too have a deep need to visit Jerusalem and like you I dont know if its as a sort of pilgrimage or what but I feel drawn there - especially this last year and the year ahead - its like I know I have to go there.
