When Beck discusses history, it's from original sources whenever possible -- not progressives' "re-writes" of history.

On the contrary, I've learned a great deal from Beck. I look for truth, and I don't care where it comes from -- be it from a conservative or a liberal (but needless to say, I've generally received far less truth from liberals).

Yep, I'm proud to support Beck. I know that makes you gnash your teeth in utter frustration and causes your knuckles to turn white, but.....buck up, kid.

One thing I really don't like is how he likes to "set the mood" When he uses his serious-voice . I don't like how he constantly repeats the last word or phase of his sentences. "you need to stand up!....stand up!".

If you remember when his fox show first came on, he did this weird camera shot of his eyes, when it was time for his serious-voice. Didn't go over very well on tv, but on radio, he can manipulate better .

When Sean Hannity wrote his last book, he did a signing at a Barnes & Noble where I live. Even in the middle of Liberalville, literally thousands of people showed up. He promised he wouldn't leave until he met every person who had come, signed every book and posed for a photo with every person who wanted one. True to his word, Hannity was the last person to leave the store.

The same thing happened when Dr. Laura showed up at B&N for a book signing months later. Thousands turned out. The store staff was shocked -- and chagrined, apparently. The next day I called the store to get a specific person count from the previous night, and the manager was fairly snotty with me, asking if I was from the news media and finally refusing to tell me the count.

One more point -- this about local news bias. The day before Hannity did his book signing, Al Franken had a book signing at a small, independent bookstore about ten miles away. The local paper had a front page story about it (with a photo), crowing about the several dozen or so Franken fans who showed up. How did that same paper report Hannity's signing where thousands turned out? Not a word.
