Why are you looking at a few pictures on Facebook? Why not look at all of them, in High Res?

Re: Images of Mars, published by NASA
I've always been very skeptical of pictures put out by NASA regarding Mars. I remember seeing a lot of pictures that look like they were taken in a desert here on Earth somewhere. And others like these it feels Photoshoped almost. IMHO, I think we're being had.

I think you might be right. Two of these are just too weird to be from Mars:

Why can't NASA send a flying drone for goodness sake? Real close up films and a fly by of all this terrain. Land it where it looks interesting and then do the ground based roving.... it obviously must be rocket science. rant

I find it ironic how posters keep telling us how gold and silver will be confiscated, a minuscule market mind you, at the very same time the bankers are changing laws to simply confiscate savings and market accounts directly. In fact, we've already had confiscations; MF Global and Cyprus. Sorry, you'll lose your savings first.

It's funny that Nasa is sending all their robots to the most flat and uninteresting plains on Mars when they know about areas like these. They even claim they are looking for signs of life there! It's like going to Sahara in search of rainforests.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1322678

Well, in defense, sending the rovers to the Flat area's does provide a bit of safety in landing, knowing that it will survive, and be able to go on with it's mission.

granted, I will give you that some of those pictures would certainly be interesting up close, and from a ground level point of view. but they do look a bit precarious to land a small rover on. of course as stated. it's rocket science.

Oh please... do you really believe they will release photos of actual trees if they found that on Mars?

They do this on purpose, so we all start to especulate 'oh noes trees!!' then days later they come back with zooms and an explanation that totally feets.

I think it would be really fun if we could have a remote-controlled rover on Mars (or at least on the moon) that everyone in turn could move via the internet and look around.
Imagine GLP that day!

Perhaps the ruling class knows our planet is fucked and have created a lifeboat on Mars? I mean, they sure have pissed away trillions over the years. Where do you think that money went? Think about it...seriously.

I believe some southern president owns that, 5 life boats, anti grav, all that sweet assed interstellar crap. Went into production in 1996.

Reminds me of some line about the victor being given the morning star, and now some know, literally everything we believe is upside down, including our planets relationship to space. Perhaps the true morning star, just coming out of a ice age, it appears.

It's been far too long. We need the truth.
I have heard of it being oil on Mars and of course we have heard/know about the photoshop workings of NASA.(typical)

I am just sick of this to be honest. I just don't even want to hear/see it anymore....I just want the truth to be out to all for all to see and know.

But ah well.
