I am an Indian too, and I can confirm. People here lack civic sense. No closing mouths while sneezing or coughing, crap on the roads, dirty people everywhere.
I usually come out to defend the 'motherland' but truth be told, these fuckers are a dirty lot. Trains should have closed toilets, with chemical treatment or proper disposal, But even to this day the super rich Indian Railways haven't bothered to correct this short sight. It saves a lot of money no doubt. Meanwhile every time a train passes by overhead on a bridge, people wait, not daring to pass underneath, lest a piece of flying Indian shit land on them. LOl.

If you catch a flight from anywhere in India to Europe via Dubai, you will notice that most Air Hostesses have grim and serious faces until the plane takes off from Dubai, and all the Indians have disembarked in Dubai! Lol. The smiles come back on the hostess faces, cos now they have less Indians to deal with.

Agreed there are good civic people here too, but we are vastly outnumbered.

To the Indian masses a fake and fixed win in a hugely corrupt cricket is enough to keep them pacified.

This , is a very dirty, and very corrupt country.

In my case at least, please don't think that I hate all the people of India, or even ANY (barring one nitwit spammer I know of who calls Mumbai home) of them individually- it isn't the case.

The agrarian culture that served India well for centuries simply doesn't adapt to 21st century metropolitan ways and an investment hasn't been made in bringing education of the ENTIRE populace both male and female into the necessary conformance with 1st world standards. Therefore, large portions of the Indian people have been largely abandonded and are ill equipped for the world in which they find themselves. It's not a uniquely Indian problem either, the same applies over much of the planet.

I wish your countrymen well, but the needed changes have been so largely neglected that even if proper remediation were begun today (improbable at best), India will continue to be regarded as a shithole for another entire generation.

I wonder if Indian Christians do the same thing as the rest of the Hindu population?

If I read correctly, 1 acre of commerical land in upscale Mumbai was sold for $100 million.

The sad poor river Ganges is now upheld as the icon of Indian decadence. Sad , but I wouldn't blame foreigners. Although I can post a hundred pictures of a 'clean and beautiful' India, it won't help the problem.

Whats happening in the Ganges is a look into the psyches of an orthodox and backward community not willing to adapt, nor having the awareness to improve.

But there is hope for India yet.

Mumbai or Bombay is the biggest problem in India because Mumbai is infested with bollywood and bollywood movies stars.

Also Mumbai is the commercial capital of India.

I would appreciate a straightforward answer to my straightforward question.

Dry toilets are easy to make, just a hole or a little room with a roof that you squat on top of and shit into.

Why don't the indians make and use these? Have they got diarrhoea all the time so they can't hold on? Thats a chicken and egg problem then.

Maybe they are too lazy.

Useless bollywood stars and movies are trying to rule the minds of people of USA, Europeans and other countries by releasing bollywood movies in international market.

and you cant go to the River, to the Beach, to the Market, etc. without seeing Shit.

In the first Months all you want is to going Home or fly to Thailand but after 3 Month you will never return to "normality"!

If that's your big concern then I believe you can put your mind to rest- not one in 500 Americans even know that Bollywood exists let alone would be interested in purchasing this low production value material with unknown and foreign (to them) actors and actresses- the US market is very Amerocentric and demands big name performers.

It seems to me that Bollywood productions are roughly equivalent to American television programming which I agree is mostly mind nunbing garbage of no real value. If that is in fact the case then you and I agree that India would be better off without its influence.
