I used to do searches on subjects and they always returned GLP. At first I would not come here because I was real serious about my questions, and I thought GLP was literally the Lunatic Fringe.

But then I noticed my questions were not being answered by the other websites and GLP always had a link to just what I was looking for. Not only that, it feels so good to know that there are other people out there who think like me, even if we disagree sometimes.

It is absolutely addicting - I am not sure why either?! My best answer for myself, is everyone around me is so 'vanilla', and the personalities here are anything but vanilla!!

I used to come here cuz I thought it was funny...people saying what they really thought without mincing words. Now it sort of turns my stomach seeing all the viciousness, hatred, and stupidity of the Faux news sheeple. Sad.

I was a longtime lurker that loved to read the posts on Government conspiracies, weather and topographical anomalies, and the like...now the general discussion forum is filled with nothing but Anti-Obama threads that focus solely on the president and completely ignore the rest of the Government.
It's boring...I don't care about the OWS protesters as NOTHING will come of it. If the GOP doesn't get their act together then Obama will sail through another election and guess what...HE WILL BE GONE IN AT LEAST ANOTHER 4 YEARS! Yet Congress will still be here.
