Oh please. Water vapor dissipates in 20 minutes or less in 90% of the time depending on conditions. In NO case does water vapor continuously EXPAND until it fills the sky with a white haze.
None of us wants to be sprayed but please USE YOUR EYES.

The newer jet engines on long haul craft are almost all high efficiency engines starting in the 1990s until today. . . These engines produce exhausts higher in relative humidity and lower in temperature than the ones they replaced. . . Thus the higher the likelihood of trail formation and persistence. . . Even in sub optimal air for trail formation. . .
