I think the headline to the linked article is absurd...it suggests NASA discovered the Earth was habitable before discovering another planet as habitable...

Earthlike planet? They admitted that they even do not know if this planet is a gaseous one or not, nor do they have any clue if there is an atmosphere or not.


They are desperate to 'prove' that Earth is just one planet out of millions of other habitable planets, so that they can do away with the Bible claim that Earth is a very special planet (God calls it His footstool).

Hey!!!@$!@ This is GLP! Our members know to 'think outside the box' and know that there are definitely very real possibilities of 'lightyear' travel. If we believe aliens have visited us in the past and even today, then YOU KNOW THAT THERE DOES INDEED EXIST A METHOD OF TRAVEL TO GO 'LIGHTYEARS'... just because us 'low men on the totem pole here on GLP' doesn't mean it doesn't exist...

You really believe that they 'JUST' discovered this place? Like they were just checking out the stars last night and stumbled upon it?

Our whole approach to space travel needs a fundamental change. Our approach needs to magnetic / electrical instead of explosion of a finite amount of fuel to get where we are going. I'd say we are well on our way. Listen to the physics of Nassim Haramein. We have the knowledge, we need to implement it.

The Kepler spacecraft detected the initial transit in May of 2009 and the confirming third transit in December of 2010. Follow-up observations from the ground provided the additional information that they released yesterday.

I'm far from convinced that they can merely calculate
the avg temp of a planet 600 million light years away.
The claim that they can do so is preposterous.
They know nothing about this mass, and may even be wrong about
it's distance to it's star. This is all hype.
I also do not appreciate the fake artist renditions
which they propagandize.

You'll be seeing more and more of these discoveries. All part of the warm up for the great FAKE Alien Invasion.

Whats real cool about this is CNN said this is just the first in a series of announcements planned from Nasa. They found this planet in the goldilocks zone. Not too hot not too cold. They said Kepler has found thousands of planets and they just need to analyze the data.

Next up they will detect a signal of some kind.

Disclosure before the end of December

At one time the Earth was thought to be flat. Right now we trend towards thinking we are the only life in the universe.

They said this planet's sun is slightly cooler than ours and that it rotates it's sun in 280 days.

Inching closer to disclosure. Preparing the Sheep. You see at one time we thought the Earth was flat. The reality of extra terrestrial life existing and actively trying to contact us will be the biggest paradigm changer in the history of the planet.

First prepare the people for this momentous announcement.

find gaseous giants around other stars and announce that the search for earth type life sustaining planets is underway.

find a few rare smaller planets that could be earth type

find many more

change earth type planets existing from rare to common.

tell us the universe is very efficient at creating earth type planets.

tell the people that earth type planets that could sustain life have been found.

Increase the number of earth type planets found.

Incremental ism is happening here.

Now it won't be such a shocker to say ET exists and disclose the truth about our real history on this planet.
