It was either his own starship or Yahweh's starship, one of the two. I'm just wondering about the 88 days and 9 hours thing. It's interesting but I'm thinking not founded in the Book of Enoch. |

There are a few spots on the internet that claim this is accurate and they reference the Apocryphal Book of Enoch but I cannot confirm this when I read the Book of Enoch, any of them. All I see is the text mentioning he lived for 365 years. Quoting: WhiteWizard 365 years, 88 days, 9 hours ends up equaling 365.24 which is the time it takes for the Earth to revolve around the Sun. Can anyone confirm this? White Wizard that would make him the sun of man |

Have you read it in the Word...Try Genesis--it's all written there about Enoch....guess you haven't read the word since you don't know that Enoch never died! |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 5943151 United States 12/05/2011 07:31 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Some research I dis a few years ago: ---------------- Names and Ages: The 'begats' are often discounted as boring or insignificant. However, if one looks more closely, much can be gleaned from this list of the descendants of Adam. Names mean something. Here is the list, the meaning of the names, and the approximate birth and death years, (Considering Adam to have been born in 'year 1'.): ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: Meaning: Born: Age at Death: Year Died: --------------- ------------- ----------- -------------- ------------ Adam: Red/Earthy 1 930 years 930 Seth: Put/Who puts/Fixed 130 912 1042 Enos: Mortal Man/Forgetful 235 905 1140 Cainan: Possession 325 910 1235 Mahalaeel: Praising God 395 895 1290 Jared: Coming Down 460 962 1422 Enoch: Dedicated/Disciplined 622 365 (Taken by God) 987 Methuselah: When he dies it shall be sent 687 969 1656 Lamech: Poor/Made Low 874 777 1651 Noah: Rest/Consolation 1056 950 2006 Shem/Ham/Japeth: Reknown/Brown/Enlarged 1556 - - -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note first that Cain is not included in the line of succession. Cain's line, however, is included in later verses: 'Genesis 4:16-22 16And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden. 17And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch. 18And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat Mehujael: and Mehujael begat Methusael: and Methusael begat Lamech. 19And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah. 20And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle. 21And his brother's name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ. 22And Zillah, she also bare Tubalcain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubalcain was Naamah. --------------------------------------- Cain's line bears names very similar to the Godly line of Adam. His line immediately begins to build cities, and to create instruments and implements of brass and iron. With Lamech (of Cain) murders continue. Multiple wives. Strife and confusion increase. This line was forbidden to intermarry with the line of Adam. They were to be separate. -------------------------------------- Then, at the time of Jared (of Adam) there was a falling of angels from heaven... a 'Coming down'... at Mount Hermon. ------------------------------------- Here Enoch comes into the picture. After this fall, the angels went to Enoch, asking him to interceed with God on their behalf. God refused their petition to be reunited with God and His angels. Here is where the animosity began. ------------------------------------- Enoch was taken, and God set a very clear sign in the naming of Enoch's son, Methuselah: 'When he dies it shall be sent'. Notice that the flood occurred when Noah was 600 years old, the year 1656 in our timeline above. Notice, too, that Methuselah died in the year 1656... When he died, it came! ------------------------------------- Noah: Note that Noah was born in 1056. Adam died in 930. Noah was the first born after the death of Adam... in a way he was the new Adam, in that he was the 'father' of the new race of men who would be born after the flood. His sons, Shem, Ham and Japeth, along with Noah, were the bridge between the Creation race and the 'modern' race of men. |

The two who appeared before Jesus at the Mount of Transfiguration: "MOSES and ELIJAH" .... Though Moses died and was buried.... Enoch and Elijah were 'taken', alive, into heaven... (A Mystery?)? ---------------- Matthew 17 King James Version (KJV) Matthew 17 1And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, 2And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. 3And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. 4Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. 5While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. 6And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid. 7And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid. 8And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only. 9And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead. 10And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come? 11And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. 12But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. |

And read elsewere that when Jesus died it fufilled perfect karma debt that Adam being the 1st to sin was then redeemed through Christ. Its hard pill to swallow if you have grown up in churches like me. But I started reading people s experiences those who died and went to heaven for a decade and it became a reacurring theme Even one persons account of dying and meeting Christ who said "Your souls are recycled". When you read the Book of Enoch it talks of Enoch being the most rightous of all Gods Children and God giving him everything even a room right next to his in heaven. |

The only reason "The Book of Enoch" was not included in the accepted "Bible" was due to conflict between Early Church Elders. It was preserved in all but ONE of the jars that held the Dead Sea Scrolls. Jesus read it, certainly... and QUOTED IT! Deuteronomy 33:2 And he said, The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them. Jude 1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, |
