I see intermittent heavy scintillation, where's the "blinking?" Jupiter didn't do it because Jupiter was no doubt much higher in the sky than Venus. Other than the fact that Venus looks like it's setting in the plume of some power plant's smoke stack or a fire, I don't see "blinking."

Oh wait, 10:49, there's your culprit; a chimney. It was going in and out of the plume of some chimney, that's why the scintillation was only intermittently severe.

How did this thread get pinned? Venus is only visible for a little while after sunset low in the horizon. If you can see it at all, you are looking threw a lot of atmosphere which distorts it.

I attributed the twinkling to atmospheric conditions being it was so low....

YES IT HAS BLINKED FOR YEARS NOW, IT IS STAR SHIP VENUS. THE REAL VENUS IS IN OUR ORBIT AND IS NOT SEEN FOR THAT REASON, IT IS ALWAYS OPPOSITE US.

What about the Moon? Wasn't that hijacked long back too?

I have to admit, it didn't look like it was blinking to me, it looked like the whole damn thing was on flames!!!

If somebody had posted that video but had not said it was Venus, I would definitely have said it was an asteroid - albeit a bloody large one!

The Planet Venus you see is not the real Venus, it is a hologram put in place to make it appear so. The real Venus is kept behind the Sun as the Earth rotates so it is always behind the Sun from our view. Planet Venus has been Terraformed, in fact it has been from a long time ago.

I noticed the SAME THING,specially on this last sunday!!!! A planet doesn't blink that way!!!! It was outrageous!
