Re: Venus disappeared at the Blink of an EYE If it was Venus
I just saw a bright, 'out of place' looking star disappear in about 3-4 seconds.

It suddenly got smaller and smaller and dimmer and dimmer until it was gone.

Weirdness.

Yes I have.

It was June of 2010 when I saw it. I live in NC but was in AZ when this happened. A bunch of us had been working in the fields and were standing around talking after the sun had gone down.

When Venus got about 10 degrees from the horizon, it flashed then disappeared. About 30 seconds later it reappeared. There were no clouds visible.

Thankyou for that post! Personally I have not seen it flash off, but I have seen it move around. I have seen star ship Jupiter turn off.

All of us gasped at the same time when it happened.

We had been watching Venus because of the blinking.
