never taken a flu shot in my 17 years of life.

a few weeks ago, i had to take a physical to renew my VISA and the doctor told my parents that he would not release anything unless i agreed to take the flu shot.

we asked him why i had to, since it had never been asked before, and he said it was a new policy that just came out about a month ago.

so they forced me to take the flu shot or else they kick me out of the country...i find it very odd.

I attend church EVERY Sunday. I know the Bible and the preaching pretty well and one thing I've figured out: preachers are like insurance men - You never have enough and you never pay enough.

Compulsory attendence doesn't seem to be listed in the Bible. Hmmm. Wonder why? Modern "churchers" want to make you think that the passages that say not to forsake the church mean you have to come to church. Well, if you're a Christian that understands what it all means, you realize that YOU don't go to church, the Church comes to you! To not forsake it means that when it comes to you, don't turn it away.

I mean, really, it would be SO MUCH EASIER if I just attended church and at the end, got a "Certified Church Goer" certificate to get me through the pearly gates. If I've never learned anything I have at least learned that even The Word Of God will be misused for convenience and priviledge.

I am in full rejections of the modern notion of the Christian Church. It is an insult to The Creator the way it is used and abused. I do, however, stand blameless and forgiven because I believe and I obey.

All you haughty Christians, take your fake faith and turn it into something real because *THAT* will certainly allow you to burn in hell. God said he hates the lukewarm and that he will vomit you out of his mouth. Either you burn for the Lord or you burn in hell. Take your pick.

Separation of church and state is a myth. It certainly isn't in the constitution. People quote it all the time. It was in an opinion letter penned by the late Thomas Jefferson.

There is only the first amendment that says "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion nor prohibiting the free excercise thereof" (...ok, thats close, maybe no cigar...)

This aint a law and this ain't keeping people from worshipping so its not a problem.

The Management of these "places of worship" should consider getting signed releases from those who get flu shots on their premises. Could be some ugly lawsuits against their religious establishments, if someone has an adverse reaction, or even dies, because of said flu shot.

I respect the church... but pastor...just other man with alot of resposibility...if pastor opens his mouth for something other than word of God ... pastor will be reminded of his responsibilities.

there are 2 nurses at the church i attend. for the last several years, our church has sponsored a "drive-thru" flu shot clinic.

my children and i don't get the shots. we just wash our hands, keep germ-x in the car, and we don't get the flu.
