I like Ron Paul and want him to win but you're wrong about polling and how polling works.

The sample of 1200 is a statistical sampling done in scientific polling. Scientific polling is the only reliable poling which yields the most accurate predictable outcome. On the other hand, straw polls are non-scientific and do not represent a predictable outcome.

I got an idea. Why don't we keep insulting each other instead of stating good facts or opinions as to why we believe something. Saying "you're an idiot" does nothing to help convince someone of your view point.

The moment you stop using reason and begin name calling it is very apparent that you are just defending what you believe in as if it was a sports team you are routing for. Stop tying yourselves into things with your ego.

Maybe attempt to "think" things out of come up with a clever way to get your point across to "change" someone's mind... or even use thought to understand things aren't always so absolute. Maybe you are even wrong. <gasp>...<shrug>.

In a scientific poll, the pollster identifies and seeks out the people to be interviewed. Im sure there wasnt any bias what so ever in who to target.

Nice that you ignored the fact that these "scientific" polls are conducted by an individual who seeks out the people to poll. Of course RP are going to be low in polls that target people who dont believe in the same things he does. these "scientific polls" are just another method where TPTB use to mind fuck into selecting the candidate that they want since its completely controlled by people

Sorry, but there was nothing "tough" about that interview. It was pretty obvious to me that Newt knew ahead of time, the questions he'd be asked. Also, the last question, which, in my opinion was the only one really that could even be considered a bit difficult for him, Beck didn't even challenge him beyond asking the question, and no follow up.

It wouldn't be a scientific poll if they sought the people out so you're wrong. They only sought out:

Straw polls, like the Ames Straw Poll in Iowa are inaccurate because a candidate can pay people to attend. That's how Michelle Bachmann beat Ron Paul.

I can also find for you what the polls actually are. These polls are conducted by people and writing down results. These things can be manipulated in many many many ways.

BUT....I also understand STRATEGICALLY that getting rid of Obama in 2012 is KEY over everything else.

I will bet money that when push comes to shove (if Ron Paul loses the primary) Trinity will not vote for Obama.
