It will take at least 3 weeks, for a carrier group to get that far. I'm speaking from experience. You're looking sometime after Christmas.

So in about 3 weeks there will be CVN-70, CVN-72 and CVN-74 off Iran.

Of course CVN-74 could always come back.

And they actually don't need that much of aircraft carriers... they have planes in Afghanistan and Iraq and Kuwait and Bahrain able to bomb Iran.
