From paper in Florida!

He says he won’t teach anyone under 35 years old! And he’s getting amazing support from his local community!

Maybe he can whip OWS into shape!

Here's a link to his site [link to nabardcombat.com]

Excerpt:

"11/30/11 ATTENTION:
As of January 1st, 2012 I will no longer accept students under the age of 35 years old.

I am doing this because I am very disappointed in America's younger generations who seem to expect instant gratification in lieu of hard work and who think they can demand respect without first giving respect....

Re: Article From Florida! Martial arts master says people under 35 too spoiled to learn
Excerpt from article:

There are no trophies for participation.

No "A's for effort" or certificates for showing up.

No hierarchy of rainbow-hued belts.

And beginning Jan. 1, people under 35 need not apply to train with martial arts Master Marco Safakhoo.

Safakhoo, 53, has been teaching martial arts for decades. He teaches a Persian combat art called Nabard at his studio, Nabard Combat/Fitness on Schwab Drive in Pensacola, said he has grown tired of whining from younger students who always seem to need a pat on the head....

I can say, as a 41 year old, I find VERY FEW people under the age of 30 (In the United States) that are not total lazy shit-bags that think that the moment they graduate from college (community) with an AA that they are entitled to be instant CEO at the company of their choice.

They live in fantasy land, many are SUPER lazy and they do not represent the TYPICAL work ethic and drive of those 35+

Sorry, but it its true when you speak about AVERAGES. Of course, nothing applies 100% to any demographic group.

For those over 35 who are agreeing -- do you have children in the under 35 category -- yeah, its a bitch being responsible isnt it?

in all honesty, i agree that many people of today's youth are lazy, but more to the point, they are apathetic. the world today has nothing to offer. we are the walking dead. so what the hell are the youth supposed to do? continue with the status quo? they are intelligent, bored, apathetic, technology fried kids with no direction who see the world around them falling to pieces quickly with no chance of saving it.

if this guy wants to bar these kids that is his prerogative and he has every reason to do so.. but really people, you cant create shit and then blame the new generation for refusing to try and clean it up.

This is most true. I've never met anyone over the age of 60 that isn't a self-absorbed piece of shit that has, by the time of their retirement, already consumed more government resources than their pathetic, old, wrinkled, 2 feet in the grave worthless asses have *ever* put in. They are a disgrace to this country and it will be far better off once they are gone for good.

Also, he probably is confusing younger people quitting for being lazy when it's the fact that they've just signed up for a super gay form of martial arts. Persian martial arts? OK buddy, I'll be sure to waste tons of money and tons of time to learn something super faggoty.

Nothing was handed to us even twenty or thirty years ago when we got out of high school. My ex and I both worked our way through college. No student loans. I worked as a secretary all day (slave wages) and went to school at night. He woke his ass up at 3 am and worked as a garbage man all morning so he could go to school for the rest of the day. We combined our resources and got through. And we had to start with garage sale furniture at first, then we worked our way up.

Granted the economy sucks right now, I'll give you that. But work hard at whatever you do (even slave labor), and eventually you can make something of yourself.

Please enlighten me on what "make something of yourself" means. Work in a job one hates, to make money to buy things one doesn't need, and can not afford, things that destroy the very environment one lives in, as well as takes advantage of people in the form of true slave wages and abuse?

seriously.. why are people still participating in, and perpetuating this ludicrous cycle?

do people really blame the youth for their lack of interest?

Maybe it means that we didn't want to stay at our parents house anymore. We wanted independence, so we worked for it.

Maybe you have to work at a job you hate while you gather the know how and/or resources to work at something you love someday.

Problem is that we now live in a society of instant gratification. No one wants to wait for anything anymore. They want it now. But it doesn't work that way. It has never worked that way, unless you were born rich.

I don't think of slave wages as a long-term career, but it can be a stepping stone, or just enough to help get by. You still have to eat, have a roof over your head, etc... Unless you still plan on being a burden on old mom and dad for the rest of your adult life.

I agree there is alot about the system that needs fixing. ALOT. But saying "I won't work unless the red carpet gets rolled out for me," will not take care of your physical needs.

So why should you work at something you don't like? You tell me. If mama kicked you out today and if you qualified for no free government handouts, then I suppose it would be a matter of survival. In this economy, that's all it's about for most people.
