Anonymous Coward User ID: 1142906 United States 12/07/2011 04:36 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I used to own/operate a CS company. I'm likely the most qualified person on this board to answer your question. And the answer is no, altitude does not matter. If you say, "nothing is happening" I assume you want the water to change collars, or some bubbles or something to appear — right? To do it right, you'll need a PPM meter. Check the PPM of your distilled water (should be 3PPM - 8PPM) prior to introducing the silver-electrodes and 12V DC current. Continue to run current until the PPM is up to 21-24PPM. Depending on how much water-volume you have, size of electrodes, surface area of electrodes, etc., it should take 2-6 hours. If you have no PPM meter, you can determine that it's "done" when the water goes from clear, the slightly hazy-gray, or just taste it. It should taste like a silver-spoon in your mouth. |

No wonder you don't own your CS company anymore with that kind of retarded advice. First of all, it's colors, not collars. Second, distilled water should always be ZERO PPM. If it's 3 parts per million then it's not true distilled water and you could end up turning blue from the CS after prolonged exposure. Third - CS is not "hazy gray". That's just scary. It should be a light yellow color, turning darker as more silver enters the water. 20 ppm is about right. |

It was silver-nitrate that he rubbed directly onto his skin, over the course of 20 years. Store bought Distill Water is 3-8ppm. Do you own chemistry apparatus to make your own? Either does she. There is a color-scale that is used to generally determine the amount of silver ions to silver particulates in the water. The most yellow, the less ionic. The more grey, the less particulates. The color the water can be changed by the amount of impurities, size of the particulates, amount of ions, and ambient light (are you looking at it in a room with a full-spectrum or a yellow-orange spectrum bulb) etc. But hey, at least you tried to sound superior — but like always, inferior minds can't help but show their true colors, due to psychological impurities. Those brands of generators start/don't start due only to the conductivity of the water. They do not contain PPM meters in the aparatus. If the conductivity of the water is too great, they will not start. Depending on what the impurities in the distilled water are it may/may-not effect the conductivity. If those impurities are say Na+ Cl- than the it will. If the impurities are inert, it will not effect the conductivity. I say this from experience, owning a "Silvergen" myself. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 6730421 Is it still good to use even if its older. Fresh is always better. That said some brands can last months some less. You can always try it though fresh homemade is to some degree the same as any store-bought and way better than most. That said, and Theo at Sovereign Silver agreed wholeheartedly that some 10 percent of what you make at home is as good as the best. Given the right color it can't harm. Go for lemon to amber, better yet lemon to gold...like a cheap beer, i.e. crystal clear yellow/gold. Frank Key of Colloidal Science Lab likes my rediscovered 1920 technique for bringing clear "ionic" into more highly colloidal yellow/gold. 14 year educator: colloidalsilver101 |

Can you say "outside of the norm?" Where are all of the poor helpless smurfs cause by the horrible unregulated colloidal-silver market. The hundreds of thousands of people that have used it for everything from cuts to major internal infections? Are they all blue? Why is the press and the media hiding them from us. Because it's a BS urban legend. It's really just a harmless yet incredibly efficient broadband antibiotic with nearly zero side effects. It doesn't answer your original post OP but I thought I would counter the standard issue BS. I've only used already made solutions.
