Car batteries, cell phones, pets...All Dying. | |

The circuit breaker tripped, but not the power strips circuit breaker/power spike arrestor that the TV was plugged into. TV wouldn't turn on afterwards. Now I have to find a replacement - which will undoubtedly be "Made in China". |

Quoting: Seer777 Who has had trouble with their car battery in the last 6 weeks or know someone who has? Who has had their phones, Blackberries and others consistently malfunctioning? Who has had their normally healthy active pet, suddenly sicken around September and eventually die? I have noticed a pattern among my group of friends and friends on FB. I am wondering if this pattern extends BEYOND the PNW. Thanks for reading. Clean the battery terminals with a wire brush, then pour a mix of water and baking soda on the terminals to remove corrosion. Use a battery voltage tester, or if you don't have one go to an auto parts store and ask them to do it, most of them do it for free. They can determine whether its your battery or alternator causing problems. Cell Phone and other similar rechargeable batteries should never be drained to less than 30-40 percent charge. Recharge instead of using the battery until its fully drained; Constantly draining your batteries to zero will shorten their life. Get your pet tested by a professional to determine the cause of sickness before it dies. |

OP, your thread is a bit vague . . . you post that you live in the PNW, but you need to consider things like your specific region and what may be going on within a certain radius of where the events are taking place . . . is there some sort of industry nearby, some recent activity of some sort that would cause such things to happen, etc. |
