OK here's a prediction (seeing as GLP is so fond of predictions).
The Euro will not fail. It won't be allowed to fail. All this trouble is just the means of bringing us all together. When disaster stares us in the face, when we are on the brink, we in the UK will be told that closer union is our only salvation - but our sovereign rights will be safeguarded - bla blah blah.
This is like one of those novels where you know the ending before you got through the first chapter...

The Euro will stay and there is nothing that can stop this process.
The risk now is only for Uk , that if they do no make the right plan all the finance market will be moved on European soil ..... and then UK will have to join the Euro
( they know already this and that's why there will not be any referendum for UK to choose, is all behind their power now)

Funny guy. My point was, these markets are manipulated, and if they're not crashing at all this bad news, the insiders must know the euros are going to pull something out of their ass.

No. The Euro will go the same way every currency in human history has. Maybe some time later. But it will happen eventually.

No. Cameron and his wimpy sidekick Clegg would let that happen, but the British people there have really HAD ENOUGH. They won't let it happen. They can't. The only thing saving the UK is their financial market. They won't let that go. The Irish know this, that's why they're printing punts and sticking to the UK. I'd bet my last cent on it. (Or penny!)

They will keep on summitting through the weekend, and there will be a surprise announcement sunday evening, monday morning (gmt).

I believe the Euro will survive until the very start of the new year. They are going to wait until every last cent has been spent for Xmas and the sales then crash the market.

No-one has much money after Christmas so it is the perfect time to do it.

That's what they have been saying for the last 6 months playing the same games.

The Euro collapse will happen no later than middle or late 2012.

I don't think anyone is putting too much weight in this meeting. Every other few weeks there is meeting where everything is supposedly on the line.

This meeting will most likely end up with some vague proposal on how to make sure countries are keeping their balance sheet in check by implementing some undefined penalties. A proposal which will probably end up in the bin because countries are very reluctant to cooperate, and do what needs to be done.

I don't expect too much volatility in the market unless they come up with a real solid proposal.
