Ok dumb question coming ...sorry..I really am a half way intelligent lady especially in The medical field but this dinar thing is so new to me and I'm thankful to Revbo, Calin, PIR and the laughs from our Thailand buddy for making some sense out of this for me,,,but anyways.....what does OMO stand for?

Howdy neighbor, but to tell the truth, I haven't been back there since I was thirteen, the bible belt you know. Most of my realities are hard core. I got lucky and averted most of the hard core programing. Lucky me. Not saying I don't believe in a higher power, just not that one.

Woops. Sorry. Open Market Operations. Most central banks, our own Federal Reserve included, engage in it through the buying and selling of government securities, i.e. bonds, to indirectly control the money supply.

You know all the talk around here about Quantitative Easing (QE) I, II, and III (and to infinity if Helicopter Ben still has anything to say about it now that Yellen replaced him? That's the Fed buying bonds at its core, thus increasing the amount of dollars in existence. It's what's known as an expansionary monetary policy.

CBI will be reducing the money supply through the selling of bonds in a contractionary monetary policy. That's when it really gets fun for us.

I have been telling people that he was a fraud now for the past 6 months. How can anyone continue to listen to someone that calls it daily??? Yet it never happen. I laughed so hard on one of his calls when a ady said her bags had been packed and ready for 3 months for her to move to a new house as soon as the RV happened. That was back in September, and the lady is still waiting.

I don't listen to any Gurus any more. It's point;less, them calling it almost daily, and then nothing happens. Like I told my husband if I do a paid to click site and cash out and don't get paid in a month I leave. I don't care if I get the owner saying tomorrow I will pay, oh no tomorrow I will pay. Oops something happened so tomorrow I will pay and have them say that BS for months. Hell no.

I had a young black guy tell me that just by Tonys voice he could tell he was more of a liar then Obama was, and that he was full of himself. My husband and myself both were disgusted with Tonys way of telling people off, and acting like a kid in school, the first 3 or 4 times of hearing him complaining about other Gurus and the part about how he would let out their secrets was just childish. I will not follow anyone like that.

It was killing me, not being able to post this last night (Left the computer at the office), but this sounds really good. I suppose by "enhance the value of the dinar" they're just talking about getting the street rate closer to the CBI rate, but that's good for us, too, even though it's not the ultimate thing we're looking for, so I'm really diggin' this news. Who knows? They could even be talking about the big change. I would sure like to see what policies they are implementing, and when they think they'll be implemented, but that would be asking a little too much.

Now that sounds like interesting news. I would be happy if it went up to 10 cents per dinar here in the US.

IQD showing a rate of .08 cents?

Not sure what is up with this but we have a forex site showing the IQD at 11.6 dinar to 1 dollar.

That would be a value of .08 cents per 1 Iraqi Dinar.

Is this just a glitch or is this a hint of the rate we are about to see?

If that was the rate the bank spread would leave you with .055 dinar per dollar or 1 million dinar would give you $55,000

Taxes could top out with state and federal at 45% leaving you with $30,250 per each 1 million IQD you hold.

I could see them coming out at a rate like that and then letting the market drive it by free float.

Just remember that Saudi Arabia the worlds largest oil producer is only at .26 cents.

We will just have to see what the CBI post and what happens in the next few days.

This is the rate that it showed up as in Mexico about 1 year ago. It then went up to .88 cents. However I believe it is now back down to about .18 there. I told hubby when it was at .88 we should have gone to Mexico and cashed out however I believe that was in pesos, which would have still been far less then US dollars. I however would be happy with .08 per dinar.

Taxes would depend on how much anyone was holding. If you get less then $20,000 you don't have to pay taxes on it. Or at least here in NC you don't have to.

If the CBI shows .08 and the banks accept it I am all out.

Yes a free float can go up...BUT it can also go down.

One major military blow out in the wrong place at the wrong time can make any currency drop like a rock.

If it's 8 cents per dinar, hell yeah I am cashing out. I figure even if half was kept for taxes, I will still be way ahead of the game. However at 8 cents each hubby and I both would be under the limit for paying taxes on it. So that would be pure profit. 8 cents would pay any debt that we have and keep us with bills paid up for a few extra months, just in case if something was to happen.

Don't know if it's a hint, but someone at DV wrote them, and asked if it was real, and they said it was not and changed it back.

After reading many of your replies to the dinar Rving at .08 and that most would cash out. I would be smart of Iraq to introduce a low rate, let it float, most of the rats would jump ship and then for good measure manipulate the float down a bit, the remainder would jump ship and then allow the rate to move up.

I think cashing all in at the start, not to be a wise decision, but perhaps cashing in 1/2 and then playing the waiting game. You would still come out ahead, but not be hating yourself later when the values doubled ie .16.

Just my 2 dinar worth. lol. Its what I would do if I were them.

Have you reached that stage of when you start to consider if you should be selling your your Iraqi Dinars rather than buying?

The reason I ask this question is because something very serious is about to happen regarding your investment in the Iraqi Dinar that will potentially see every single dinar that you currently own end up being worthless. We have warned of this before but we are now just a few weeks away from potentially seeing this scenario taking place.

Ehh, who knows? That guy is a jerk off. He doesn't want to see us make a cent. He hates Americans.

No big deal, if tomorrow it becomes worthless. But if there is a chance of a float or RV to me its worth the risk vs reward. Investments are like that.

PS after reading the whole article, I have seen that expressed many times before supposedly by people in the know and it has never come to fruition. And it won't this time. lol. The guy who runs that sight really doesn't want any one making money off of the dinar. Oh well I guess most have a cross to bear.
