Congrats to OC and ReV! Just caught up here as I have been too busy for the last month to visit GLP.

Seems like things are not moving much. Right?

Iraq is boring as hell right now, so I'm just gonna leave this here, 'cause...fuck these assholes trying to erase my people's history, that's why. Just bought my first rebel flag of my life today, and I've lived in the Heart of Dixie my entire life.

Funny you should say that. I've been working on a short piece, that I may make its own thread, about exactly that:

It's been going on for quite a while, now, but this mass shooting in Charleston, I think, can be seen as the "shot heard 'round the world" in what I believe to be a close relative to the Arab Spring movements our government sponsored in Libya, Egypt, and Tunisia.

The Confederate flag issue is being sold as righting historical wrongs and being sensitive to the feelings of our black neighbors, but what it's really about is demoralizing the enemy.

The gun control issue has nothing to do with lowering crime rates, as its proponents know that the criminals don't care what laws they pass. It's about disarming the enemy, and the enemy is us.

Welcome to the American Spring.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 69600472

Well, I think the idea behind banning the flag is to provoke a response from the KKK or neo-nazi types. If they don't take the bait, there's plenty of animosity in "the community" to take the first shot to which the right wing will respond. After that, it won't really matter who shot first anymore.

Basically, this is Cloward-Piven in really fast action. They want to bring us down by having us fight each other, and, when it becomes necessary, they will take the side of their voters. Spring movements lead to civil war, and I believe that it the goal. Obama only has a year and a half left, and if he's going to"fundamentally transform" the USA into his fascist-socialist utopia, he ain't gonna get it done through conventional means with a Republican Congress.

Re: Iraq an economic Study
Based on the fact that the other so called 'springs', whether Ukraine, Arab, or whatever didn't really turn out the way 'they' wanted them to turn out, I'll bet this one doesn't turn out the way it's suppose to either. Personally, I think this flag thing woke up the wrong crowd.

If one goes with the confederate flag being one of defiance against northern corporatism and banking control they may have found the thing for the average man or woman to rally beyond in the fight against world dominance of those entities today.

Yeah, it's not really working out for them so well in most of those places. Libya is destroyed, Egypt overthrew their Obama-placed Muslim Brotherhood government, Ukraine is a stalemate, Syria is going to end up reduced to rubble before it's all over, and I don't know what happened in Tunisia, ultimately, but if it gets started here, it's going to ruin our economy, and that may be all Obama cares about, bringing down the mighty oppressor to the world.

But yeah, it could go the completely opposite way from what he's wanting. If liberty-loving Americans go to war with liberty-hating Americans, unless the Army intervenes totally on the side of the fascists, it will be quite one-sided.

Country folk get it, and I say that as a contrite suburbanite who used to think rednecks were all idiots. I am embarrassed that I didn't understand my own culture until about halfway through college, but I am the great-great grandson of a Confederate infantryman, and I am proud of that, damn it.

Not that we didn't already know this, but now, it's in the Wall Street Journal, not al-Kitabat. This son of a bitch runs guns and food to the most evil barbarians on earth since Genghis Khan, and at home, he's focused on disarming people who are no threat to anyone, removing our symbols, and encouraging violent attacks by the barbarians of America, the ghetto thugs. And he's doing it all while bathed in the rainbow, a symbol of God's covenant with humanity that he and his supporters have bastardized in to a symbol of sodomy.

In all this, actually it appears that the dinar does have the potential to actually become something. Not because the backwards third world middle eastern country of Iraq knows what they are doing, but because when this Greek thing happens there is more of a chance of a Global Reset and that is when undervalued currencies revalue higher.

At least that is my hope.

I green pinned that late last night. Did y'all see the piece, a couple weeks ago, where an American archaeologist had demonstrated that the original sites of the first two temples was not on the Temple Mount, but in the City of David? That clears the way for them to build the Third Temple now without having to wait for the Dome of the Rock to disappear? If that's what this is, like jet said, buckle up, because it's about to be the doom show of, well, ever. Tribulation, y'all.

Come quickly, Lord Jesus.
