Thanks, bro. Happy Father's Day to you.

Incidentally, you may see a little more of my updates here. TPTB closed my thread on DA, the most popular thread in site history, on the day before the final push into Old Mosul, and I am displeased. Think I'm done over there, so it won't be double posting to bring things here.

I've only got a few more weeks in me, though, for Iraq, one way or the other. If liberation of Mosul doesn't spark rapid movement on the legislative and economic reform front, I'm out. I think it will, and if it does, they should be moving on monetary reform quickly, so either way, this is it for me.

Holy shit Rev.
Why the fuck did they do that ??

Sorry to hear you're gonna move on from the thread but it is understandable after so long.
I,m 13 years into this investment and i feel it may be another year or two still to go before anything truly solid happens.
Granted they have made amazing process and it it wasn't for the corruption i think it may have happened sooner.

But if they're following the Plan For Iraq witch i believe was a 15 year plan then yeah possible year or maybe two to go.?

Then again it could be popped when we least expect it.

Again i thank you all for the support and well wishes regarding my move.

Finally unpacked 99% of the boxes and the little house is starting to look like a home.
All the best Rev no matter what you do mate.

Everybody, this is searzy, a friend from DA who, like most everyone else there except staff, didn't like seeing my thread closed. I hope you'll stick around, searzy. Don't let the whackjobs on the site freak you out too much. They are part of the GLP culture, but there's a wealth of knowledge here about pretty much everything that ever happens in our world, and a lot of very smart people discussing it.

As to full liberation, my best guess would be another couple weeks, but I am constantly surprised.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

Wow rev!!!!!

Sounds like you're tired

Just tired of this. 5.5 years is enough.

Keeping GLP in line is a good bit of work, and actual work is crazy these days. Two kids keep me pretty busy, too. I don't need four jobs.

Haven't seen DZ or calin in forever, W2W.

Glad to hear it about your island. Sounds like a cool place. If this ever happens, I might just bring the family. I want to take them to the old country (I'm one of those oddball Americans whose ancestry is almost 100% English according to my Aunt Gail), but London is out of the question.

That's what I've been waiting to see since February. There were lots of articles about it back then, but they've slowed in the last couple months. Nice to see them talking about it again. It is imperative that they reform the economy immediately once security is established. Otherwise, this whole fight will have been for nothing as ISIS/AQI v3.0 will reform in the Sunni territories.
