OK, I couldn't help myself. Nobody else was posting it, so I started the thread at DV. Enjoy.

Haha. Yeah, I'm not much for commentary, and I sure as hell am not about to go digging around Arabic websites for news, but I can absolutely publicize somebody else's work with the best of 'em.

Nice to see you around, LM, and a few others who don't usually post in the thread, too. I knew there were more of y'all out there. At last, we're finally getting some news that might bring some folks back that disappeared when DZ's thread got deleted. (Wish I had been around for that, but I thought it was a joke. I mean, c'mon..."I just cashed in my dinars and now, I'm a millionaire?" Who's gonna believe such nonsense?)

I don't post here since I'm an admin on a small little forum of friends that shot off from PD and PTR a couple of years ago. Of course I watch it all obsessively...still trying to sift the real from the total BS. Stopped checking DV because it started to look like an offshoot of GLP!!lol!

chuckle Good to hear the cards are working for us.

The conference was Jan 12-13. The translation was done on Jan 18 and, somehow, no one noticed it until yesterday morning. Now, it's all we're talking about, except some guy's bank story that still hasn't quite materialized after 8 or 10 excruciating hours.

The good news is, we didn't all get all excited about this two weeks ago, and we get to be excited about it now. The bad news is, we still don't know when "soon" is.

Good stuff. My only concern is, shouldn't we be hearing lots of stories like this? I know this guy is not a pumper from his history on DV, but it just seems to me, if Chase was disseminating this information to the lower levels, there would be quite a few more folks with similar stories. Maybe they're just keeping quiet so as not to get trashed. I guess, if I had a bank story like that, I'd probably tell y'all, since Recaps doesn't follow GLP, but I don't think I'd be posting it far and wide, so maybe, there's something to it.

ok... now this is really weird. I was listening to coast to coast with Noory and some physic lady said to hang an unblemished lemon up for an influx of money. It could be that you get money owed to you or other things monetarily that will benefit you.

Well, I did that Sunday before last and two things showed up for me already that benefited me monetarily wise. Not big stuff, but enough to say wow, that works!

So, my lovelies, hang an unblemished lemon up. It has to be unblemished and do not touch counters in the kitchen.
She said it doesn't work then if you do.

Hard to say. Politics are still chaos, but they've got a Standby Agreement with the IMF that expires on Feb 23. They made certain commitments that, supposedly, have not been fulfilled, and no announcement has been made about extending the SBA. They already extended it last summer and SBA's only are allowed to be extended once. So, if Iraq doesn't get it together and live up to these agreements, whatever they are, by Feb 23, they're gonna owe the full amount of debt that was negotiated down by 80% at the Paris Club. They're broke as it is, so if they don't fulfill their obligations, they're going to default, and they'll never get another loan and become economic pariahs again.

IMF doesn't publish these obligations, but they are getting a lot of pressure from the international community to open up the free market and make it easier to do business internationally. In order to do business internationally, a country has to have a convertible currency. They could go international at 1166, and probably will, but once the peg is removed, and the float starts, supply and demand should drive the rate up quickly.

Basically, these are freakin' idiots we're dealing with, but even idiots like money. Turki's speech doesn't hurt, either.

No idea who this guy is, so take it with a huge grain of salt, but I thought y'all would find it interesting. Reading through his very few previous comments, though, he seems extremely knowledgeable, if a little post-shy.

iqdcrazy:
I have some intel from a contractor in Iraq that Exxon Mobil is having secret talks today to shift power and push a revaluation with the president of the World Trade Organization. If this was to happen there would be a fast three step move. The Dinar would go up in price very sharply and then there would be a Free Float, a re-denomination with an RV. This would balance the budget, remove deficit and remove all big notes from circulation all at once. Lastly it would increase the investments in Iraq 100 fold in a matter of days and Oil companies would make Billions of dollars in seconds.
