Only one small flaw in the logic. If they RV at 1 to 1 and banks and countries around the world are holding dinar and will continue to hold it as a reserve currency, then it would seem they will do everything in their power to preserve the rate and stability of the currency and the country. So I don't see much downside for shabibi in going forward with an RV as planned and scheduled for the later part of this year.
Green lights all the way. They have all been counting on the Iraqi dinar to solve a multitude of financial problems world wide. sk

Revbo: If the dinar goes to a free float, it won't take long before these 8th grade educated MPs figure out that every law they pass leads to increased stability, which leads to an increase in the value of the dinar. Yeah, it's insider trading, but as we have seen with our congress, even First World governments aren't exempt from a little investment corruption. Free float could get this GOI worked out real quick, if for nothing else than outright corruption. Might as well work to your strengths, and Iraq is the most corrupt nation on earth.
