Quoting: Revbo™ Made of State John Kerry, on Monday, after a meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister outgoing Nuri al-Maliki, and a number of Iraqi officials in Baghdad, remarks indicate Washington's desire to abandon al-Maliki from power, contrary to what was keen Kerry on Asmall the owners during their meeting . And a senior Iraqi official revealed that Kerry transfer of three owners of American letters, centered on the need for the resignation of the latter, and warning of the consequences of any Iranian interference in Iraq, and stop the recruitment in the army on a sectarian basis. In exchange for failure to declare the American public wanting to give up al-Maliki from power, as one of the main factors, which triggered the crisis, revealed a senior official at the Iraqi Foreign Ministry, on Monday, for "new Arab", highlights of the talks, al-Maliki and Kerry, stressing that the latter has the transfer of three letters U.S., focused on the need for the resignation of Maliki, and warning of the consequences of any military intervention in Iraq, Iran, and stop recruitment into the army on a sectarian basis. The official said, "The most prominent axes closed-door meeting, which was leaked to us, concentrated in three letters U.S., it focused first message on the resignation of Maliki and the search for a new alternative, has the approval of the Sunni Arabs and Kurds, through a new government recognizes the constitutionally according to the results of the recent election." way2wyrd User ID: 56846693 United Kingdom 06/24/2014 05:36 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | So, I think I've seen enough onTwitter to tell me Maliki ain't resigning. He says we told him that he could form the government by July 1, which is such a bullshit interpretation of what we told him, it makes my head want to explode. I think we're seeing "Confessions of an Economic Hitman" play out here. We tried the diplomatic route...sort of, by sending ISIS into the Sunni territories, and knocking on the door of Baghdad to intimidate him into leaving. That has failed, so the next move, according to the book, is to try to assassinate him, so I would say we see ISIS move on Baghdad in the very near future before the Shiite militia is able to organize. If he survives that, we're looking at either civil war or Sunni secession. Barzani already talked about Kurdistan seceding again, today, and it would be in the Sunnis' interests to just secede and not try to fight a protracted civil war. We could be back to the Biden Plan, after all, and that wouldn't be all that bad. I don't think we'll see a change in currency until there is some political settlement, though, whether it be the 3 state solution or a new Maliki-free, non-sectarian government where peace and justice rains throughout the land. The good news is, things are at such a tipping point that a political solution can't be far off. Quoting: Revbo™ Revbo the announcement from the CBI with the associated rate change must happen before the split off. You see when the Kurds declare an independent nation of Kurdistan on that day Iraq will lose 1/3rd of its land and wealth...oil...gold...crops etc. This would throw the whole value equation on it's head and IMF article 8 compliance would be derailed. So currency change first...then the split. If not...it will be one big failure. Not necessarily. The Shiite remnant state would keep the CBI, and all its money, and they have 2/3 of the oil. They would lose their welfare cases in Sunni-stan, and a Shiite remnant state would immediately have stability because there won't be any Sunnis or Kurds to oppress. If it goes down this way, though, I think you're right that the Kurds will probably wait for a while to see how things shake out. Their secession is not nearly as imperative as the Sunnis' would be in the near term. The Kurds have pretty much got everything under control in their territories. It seems to me that there are at least two irons in the fire here... 1. Maliki and his own agenda for power 2. The larger players, US, EU, IMF, WB, UST that are opposed to BRICS & Iran, both tolerating Maliki's bullshit. I can't help but think that both sides want the IQD to FF/RV, because both benefit, but like two alpha predators, there is the fight that ensues to lay claim to the largest part of the kill. It looks like that is where we are at. I can't help but like the way you think. |

Oil is the lifeblood of any economy! Very simple philosophy here. Those who control the worlds oil control the world!! Here is what most people don't know. The world is NOT running out of oil, BUT it IS running out of CHEAP oil and Iraq is said to contain as much as 25% of the worlds remaining CHEAP lite sweet crude that's close to the surface! This is why Iraq is soooo important! An energy crisis for the world is about to rear its ugly head and its because oil is about to become much more costly! I have experience working with an oil remediation and production company. Our company for a time was producing a chemical that you could put down an oil well that would boost production of that well as much 500% for about 6 months. What I learned during that time is that oil wells and oil fields behave the same way. You can have higher and higher production rates of an oil well till you reach 50% left of the reserves at that point the well pumps at a declining rate for the rest of its life!!! There are some things you can do to temporarily boost oil and gas production from a declining well, but they are ONLY temporary!! The problem is the largest oil fields in the world including almost all of the middle east with the exception of Iraq are in decline!! There are alternative oil supplies that can and will fill worlds shortage but they are all SECONDARY sources that cost much more to produce!!! |
