Revbo I have a couple of questions for you about the length of time to exchange the bills in the future once this occurs. Will it still be the 2 years as some of my friends I am talking with lately are mulling over specifics and how long it will take it to rise in value once it has gone on the market and is in fact international again. I know it will rise in value so the question will be cash it all in versus in increments as it rises in value. Just looking for your thoughts on this.

I don't know if you know this, but I think they are going to float it from where it is. No idea how fast it will appreciate when they do. I have heard that the 000 notes will be good for 10 years. I think that's solid, but I could be wrong. The 2 years thing, I'm pretty sure, is guru talk. As far as when to cash it in, I'm a mortgage recruiter, not a financial adviser. Your guess is as good as mine.

Oh, and Mosul ain't over yet. Almost there, but today is not the day, I'm afraid.

I know it's not over yet and after over 5 years of waiting to me what is a little longer. I had seen the two differences of opinions about the 2 and 10 years so thanks for your clarification on that. I believe it will be a float also why the speculation on when to cash it in . Some say they will take the initial and run. I certainly understand its a personal decision for the holder to deal with themselves. The removal of the 000 was also something they worried about and told them that is not going to happen according to my research

Well, my strategy is probably as it should be, wait and see. Since I have no idea as to how fast it will appreciate, I can't really have any idea as to a timeframe for exchanging it. I mean, I have kicked around a lot of scenarios in my head, but until something happens, it's really just sort of mental masturbation, ya know?

agreed , speculation , but fun speculation.

I am digging up old research about how to invest all of it and protect , but had jumped off the bandwagon of doing that for quite some time as it seemed at a stand still.
