Oath Keepers Alert: Federal Agents Demand Customer Lists From Mormon Food Storage Facility
ok, things are really getting serious, WTF?!?!?!?

[link to oathkeepers.org]

Oath Keepers has learned that federal agents recently visited a Later Day Saints (Mormon) Church food storage cannery in Tennessee, demanding customer lists, wanting to know the identity of Americans who are purchasing food storage from the Mormons.

This incident was confirmed by Oath Keepers Tennessee Chapter President, Rand Cardwell. Here is Rand’s report:

“A fellow veteran contacted me concerning a new and disturbing development. He had been utilizing a Mormon cannery near his home to purchase bulk food supplies. The man that manages the facility related to him that federal agents had visited the facility and demanded a list of individuals that had been purchasing bulk food. The manager informed the agents that the facility kept no such records and that all transactions were conducted on a cash-and-carry basis. The agents pressed for any record of personal checks, credit card transactions, etc., but the manager could provide no such record. The agents appeared to become very agitated and after several minutes of questioning finally left with no information. I contacted the manager and personally confirmed this information.

This event points to a new level of federal government encroachment on the basic freedoms of the American people. Likewise, it points to a confused policy within federal agencies. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) recommends that citizens store emergency supplies, including bulk food, in the event of a natural disaster or man-made event (the new politically correct term applied to a terrorist attack). The FEMA guidance is spot-on as it allows individuals and families to be self-sufficient during an emergency situation.

This only tells me that the federal Government has far too many employess with not enough to do, so they've got to come up with silly shit like this to justify their grossly exaggerated paychecks.

What I get out of that is that a major food shortage is just around the corner and the feds want to know where stockpiles are so they can ensure fair distribution?

I believe it is because if the government is in control of the food, they control the people. If people have food stockpiled in bulk, they are less likely to be controlled.

I think most people hate this big brother shit, unless we defund the gov something fierce this kind of digital witch hunt is only going to continue festering into some kind of gatica preemptive thought crime future.

And here in Tennessee, we just learned that Nashville Metro Public Health and the Tennessee Department of Health are conducting “door-to-door assessment of disaster preparedness … using a tool designed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to go door to door and check to see how disaster ready you are. .. in 30 neighborhoods in Davidson County [TN] that have been randomly selected to be the target of a door to door assessment.” I have confirmed that that is a state run effort.

I hope you enjoy this great news as I did when I was told.

OUTSTANDING!! I just left my neighbors house. Devon is with the National Guard for this area. He just got home from a EDRE (emergency deployment readiness exercise) at the armory. He said that during the exercise 3 companies of infantry were polled by questionare about the drill and it’s purpose. One of the questions was, will you as a member of the Nat. Guard use lethal force against the American public if ordered to do so? One of the men stepped forward and refused to take the poll and explained that it was a moral judgement on his part and that he could not do so. He then placed his weapon on the ground and fell in behind the formation. Devon said it was like a waterfall, Every member layed their weapons on the deck and fell in beside the one lone specialist. This included ALL NCO’s, STAFF NCO’s and SENIOR NCO’s. The only people left in front of the original formation was 3 Capt’s. 2 Lt’s and the BN Commander who was so upset he started having chest pains from yelling and screaming about court martials and disbandment of the unit into other units. Devon is a Mstr.Sgt and he went with his troops and told them that he could not be prouder of any of them. He was floating while he was telling me this. Maybe we have more than just hope on our side. SEMPER FI. my thanks for the honor of being here Robert.

Paul Lowe

I just heard from Devon. He was TX’d by his Plt LDR and advised that the Specialist Who first layed down his weapon is being held in county jail by the Bn CMDR, awaiting a hearing under the UCMJ. Devon couldn’t get any more info than that. I don’t want to post the mans name until we have more information. I am so upset by this that I am having chest pains. How can they do this to one soldier and not them all. I will let you know how things go. Think I might go lay down for a bit. SEMPER FI.

Gary Greene

That is great, sort of, to hear. That the officers wont stand by THEIR oath is troubling. Where is this?

Um, I just realized that this sort of ties in to what I had happen, only out here in rural PA they were randomly knocking on places to find out about what kind of crops they were growing and fertilizer they were using, supposedly to find out about what is effecting the waterways.

Thread: US Govt randomly knocking on doors in rural areas to ask what kind of crops are being grown, fertilizer being used to "protect waterways"

There is no legitimate reason for the Department of Homeland Security to compile such lists. Al Qaida suicide bombers are not known to store powdered milk and buckets of wheat. Nor are they known to store away dehydrated carrots and instant potatoes, or fruit punch mix for the kids.

I don't think it's about it being illegal. Just compiling a list is in itself not offensive it's what you do with it thats the problem. Our most "open and transparent" government in our countries history isn't talking but instead sneaking around in the dark moving chess pieces.

Time to go arrest Romney.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 6808054

You were being funny, and I DID get a chuckle out of this. However, according to Judge Napolitano this could ACTUALLY be one consequence of the egregious Bill if it passes.

If you are a student of History, you might remember that this is how Obama became a Senator in the first place - he released Court records WHICH HAD BEEN SEALED regarding a messy divorce which his opponent had gone through. He waited until it was too late for another candidate to come forward, and when his opponent withdrew from the race Obama was basically a "shoo-in" for the office.

Human nature being what it is, we tend to repeat actions which were successful in the past.

So, if Romney ends up becoming Obama's opponent, it would be conceivable that Obama could wait until 2 or 3 weeks before the election and then have Romney arrested for "sedition".

He would then be able to essentially walk into his second term unopposed to finish his "job" of destroying America, the last bastion of Freedom in the World.

The Mormons would have complied with the govt if they had a list of customers. Most churches would.

I don't know anything about this oathkeepers group. Are they credible?

BTW - If you are buying your preps at Costco or Sams, they have a record of the transaction, regardless of how you paid.
