Who owns Cerberus Capital?

The name Freedom Group makes me highly suspicious.
The engravings translate to "This space intentionally left blank."

The prayer is inscribed in an ancient script, rarely used today. It seems to be a philippic against small insects, absent-mindedness, and the picking up and dropping of small objects.

The gate is open; through it you can see a desolation, with a pile of mangled bodies in one corner. Thousands of voices, lamenting some hideous fate, can be heard.
The way through the gate is barred by evil spirits, who jeer at your attempts to pass.

Calling the corporately controlled New York Times Liberal detracts from what they want you to believe is an unbiased stance. Being a conflicted NRA supporter, I never less find the article's information disturbing.

Usually 3 headed and guards the gates of the underworld to prevent those who crossed the river Styx from escaping.

Opening the gates of hell perhaps?

Good question. IMO, the fact that Cerebus owns 'freedom group' is an indication of the direction of thought. This endeavor is not one undertaken for the benefit of the people or individual freedom.

Crusader,

I tried to reply but I'm not a full member.

Soros? No doubt. But who else? Dupont's would be my guess. But how much of their US gunpowder monopoly have they traded to the other Big 12?

Why would they try to cut off the ammo (if that is what they are up to) and guns at this point? This is the most well armed populace in the world? Making the guns and ammo scarce would only empower those who already have it. Bullets and small arms will be as valuable as gold coins when and if the collapse occurs.

If this is the gameplan, it isn't very well thought out, IMO.

A CEO or parent corp's only responsibility is to increase share value or profit.
To buy up companies to shut 'em down doesn't make sense, in the short term.

However.
This would be a profit strategy and longevity plan I could sell to the Cerebus board of directors;
Buy 'em up to make a $ profit in a short term anticipation 'communist takeover' scare in the US.
Then when the actual communist takeover takes place, the companies are shut down to prevent any futher patriot resistance. At the same time public gun confiscation takes place.
Just like GM, the companies are then put under the communist bureaucratic control. Notice the way GM mandated municipalites to buy GM patrol cars/Tahoes? The Cerebus companies become sole source suppliers to the new communist bureaucracy forever, guaranteeing their longevity. Corporate communism at its best.

Yeah. That may indeed work. But it's one thing to plan it and quite another to implement it. Trying to disarm the public via gun confiscation is going to be fun to watch. Even if they shut down the internet and power while they do this, word on the street will spread...and actually if it spreads in this way it is much more dangerous to the authorities who are confiscating.

Like I've said in other threads, the moment they declare war on law abiding gun owners is the moment they are screwed. If you are a gang member, for instance, a crip/blood/ms 13 or anyone else you can find on an episode of 'gangland', you are already hard wired to hate cops and the military...any authority figure.

It will be Christmas everyday for these types when established law breaks down via gun confiscation. The new status symbol for a gang member will be how many cop badges and military patches they have due to the epic chaos.

It will be a crossfire scenario. Law abiding citizens, po po and military, and criminal street gang members. Who is stupid or crazy enough to want to be in the middle of that?

In my estimation, when they open Pandora's box via gun confiscation you won't even need to own a gun.

There will be plenty lying around. Just simply pick one up.

Doesn't care about a NASA space budget, nor keeping a stealth drone outa muzzies hands, nor a lot of other important 'details'. He certainly won't care about a prison population, or release of them.

Crusader,

You may be right. But compare our culture to the culture's of these other countries who have fallen to Communism, Fascism, or whatever label you want to put on the centralization of power.

This is a melting pot. It's one thing to divide and conquer, but there are so many divisions in this country that perhaps it can't be conquered in this way. Despite the many many clicks, groups, ect...one thing that unites them is the us vs. them mentality. Them as of now is society as a whole. Break down that society and them becomes any organized authoritarian force that whatever group you are in envies. All of them will envy the power and force that the militarized police force represents.

I do think it will be tried though.

A successful criminal organization has to have a certain amount of discipline to thrive. You won't find that in a criminal street gang...which is why they occupy their current position presently.
