I live in Houston and last week I saw a fast moving light in the sky. We have 2 major airports and there are always planes in the sky but whatever this object was it was going way too fast to be a commercial or private plane. At the speeds it was going it was well over Mach 1 not doubt. The object was flying from the east to the west. I watched it for about 10 seconds then it made a hard turn to the south over the gulf of mexico and disappeared within seconds. When I saw it the object it had just come above the Horizon to the east and within 15-20 seconds it was about to be out of sight on the western Horizon before it went south and disappeared. It wasn't very high either. I'd say it was no more than 10,000 feet up.
