**BEER THREAD: Need Some Imports/Domestic Flavors!**
I'm getting bored of ordering the same ole beers whenever I go out - some hot wings, beer and football is great, but the domestics are getting boring.

Here's my current selections:

•Miller Light (draft or bottle)
•Shock Top
•Tangerine Wheat
•Boulevard Wheat
•Purple Haze (Raspberry Wheat)

What are some of your ideas? Headed to the liquor store today!

peace

There's a beer out here in Central PA called Mad Elf, made by Troeg's, 11% alcohol by volume. It's awesome!!

Shock Top is good too though, it's the only Michelob product that doesn't taste like poop. :)

Anything by Sweetwater, Terrapin, or Fat Tire is good. Most domestic beer is crap, and when you buy that watered down excuse for a beer, you're putting money in pockets of Corporations and out of the local breweries.

I was typing as you were complaining about not having a post lol, where are you located? If you can, try to get something local from a microbrewery. Infinitely better than anything "popular".

shock top aint bad, not that common

75% of the bars in vegas just have BUD/MGD/Heinkien(domestic)

try out full sail or sierra nevada pale ale

not exactly micro brews, but very good beer

Haha I know, I'm an impatient bastard chuckle

Actually I'm in Arkansas - no breweries around here, unfortunately.

Home office is in northern Cali, so microbreweries are a big thing up there. The sad part is, most imports are sold on the shelf in liquor stores here, but the selection is crazy big.

I'll give those a shot!

I think the problem I'm having is that I'm throwing in an orange or lime into every beer I drink, so I'm compensating for shit beer lol.

I've become big fans of Sweetwater and New Belgium (the ppl who make Fat Tire) lately.

Also, just about anything from Sierra Nevada is good.

LOL true true...it's a man law indeed. Only in the wheat beers and shock top I put an orange.

Funny that it's a miller light ad - which I NEVER put fruit in the beer LOL.
