I love sourdough bread. But if this works just as well, then I have a recipe for some party bread that you can dress up.

1 unsliced round loaf 1 lb. sourdough, if you can get it.
1 pound Monterey Jack cheese, sliced
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup chopped green onions
2 to 3 teaspoons poppy seeds

On a large sheet of heavy duty tinfoil, lay it out and place the bread on the tinfoil. Cut the bread lengthwise and crosswise with out cutting through the bottom crust. Insert cheese cheese between cuts. Combine butter,onions and poppy seeds; drizzle over the bread. warp the bread up in the foil,place on a baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 15 mins. uncover; bake for10 minutes longer or until the cheese is melted. Serve warm. Enjoy!
