Yes...we got the first PC's. Commodore 64 as others have said.

RAID ON BUNGALOW BAY!!!!!!

We played war in the woods and in that empty house in the neighborhood that never remained occupied for more than a few years at a time.

We slipped over to the neighborhood Catholic's house to watch the Gooneys, Rambo, and other R rated movies our parents wouldn't let us watch at home.

I was usually the pilot and my buddy was the gunner. Gotta get those factories and god forbid they get more than one battleship built...
The engravings translate to "This space intentionally left blank."

The prayer is inscribed in an ancient script, rarely used today. It seems to be a philippic against small insects, absent-mindedness, and the picking up and dropping of small objects.

The gate is open; through it you can see a desolation, with a pile of mangled bodies in one corner. Thousands of voices, lamenting some hideous fate, can be heard.
The way through the gate is barred by evil spirits, who jeer at your attempts to pass.

Re: Born in the 1970's
I was BORN in the 70's. We are the last generation who learned to play in the street, we are the 1st who played video games and the last to record songs off the radio on a cassette tape. We Learned how to program the VCR before anyone else, play from the Atari, to super Nintendo- We are the generation of Tom and Jerry,Captain Kangaroo. We traveled in cars without seat belts or air-bags and lived without cell phones. We did not have flat screens, surround sound, iPods, Facebook, Twitter, computers & the Internet... but nevertheless we had a GREAT time... stoner

Yep and what a bloody good time it was, growing up then :-)
My favourite band is Pink Floyd :-)
My favourite game is Space Invaders - went through a bucketload of coin at the video game arcade.
Hmmm, was good to be born in the 70's :-)

Tell me about it, the kids these days will NEVER get the relationship between a cassette tape and a pencil eraser.

Not that this is an important bit of data to comprehend or anything.

LOL. I remember that trick.

And the intense concentration and planning it took to make your mix tapes come out in just the right order for the maximum experience, b/c you couldn't just arrange and rearrange a playlist. It had to be perfect the first time.

Kids these days have it so damn easy.

Yep, remember my 1st cassette recorder, was MONO!!! hahahaha, also remember my 1st VCR, was a BETAMAX!!!
I still own a HIFI VCR AND a cassette deck - stereo now of course :)
I CAN'T STAND the sound of MP3's, too bloody compressed :(
