SKYRIM: Glitched/Bugged Quests - POST YOUR LIST

Level 35 storm cloak, I don't feel like looking thru my quest log but ironically I just completed fulgunthor cave, no problems at all...

I got the windhelm house, no problems there..

The only glitch I got was from 2 dragons I killed, didn't absorb dragon soul... the gameplay is glitchy in general, dual weilding spells will pull out a fist sometimes, rather annoying, and you have to activate things multiple times and can't instantly search corpses, gotta wait 5 seconds upon death... utter bullshit

Haha people still play games with joysticks on consoles? Nothing you can do on the 360 except wait for the developers to hopefully release a patch that will fix them and not break anything else.

Quest: Diplomatic Immunity

Accidentally didn't give Malbourn the equipment to smuggle in.. now I can't find the bastard anywhere and completing the mission with no items is basically impossible. :(

But at least I was able to power level Alchemy, Smithing, Enchanting, and Illusion to 100 very quickly. Now I can create some pretty sick gear.

I've heard / read alot of complaints with bugs and glitches but have experienced relatively few. Most are minor like weapon racks and cases that don't activate in my Windhelm home. The " Blood on the Ice " quest was bugged, apparently because I offed a npc in a dark brotherhood contract earlier. For some reason I can't become thane of Riften even though I've completed the sub quests. Other than those and a few other very minor bugs its been pretty smooth. Incredible game, top 3 ever imo.

Ahh that sucks about the Riften deal.

I own every house except Markarth, and the Riften house is the best IMO.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this game, much like the previous Elder Scrolls... I just wish they would release a patch already.. I like seeing my current quest list short, if ya catch my drift.

I know what causes all the bugs in the game. OBAMA! It is because of that god dang socialist Obama health care plan.

My weapon racks glitched but fixed itself... blood on the ice I did, and was fine....

Okay 2 tips I learned


Once buying a house or decoration, save in front of the house merchant, talk to him, hit I'd like to buy, then before u hear the money ching ching sound, press B and run to an end table or chest or wardrobe or something and store your money, then back out and ull get the key (or furniture) and able to withdrawl your coins from storage after getting your key or furniture..

Tip 2 involves that book u get that gives u skill level ups, it allows u to get unlimited experience and leveling, sadly its a long guide so YouTube that, and even my first tip incase u don't understand

Hadvar for the Imperials in "Compelling Tribute" would not take the quest....Just stood there not taking the quest I did with the Caravan.

That Lizard in "Scoundrel's Folly" just vanished from the Brinewater Grotto. The Quest Marker got stuck in a loop.

Actually now that you mention Scoundrel's Folly... that same thing happened to me, but I saved right before approaching him and the last gaurd.

nah we were just younger then, PC skyrim rocks, download it free, get mods, kick ass

I got it for xbox and pc. PC version is cranked to the max with fxaa post process injector (mod) . PC rules for the ability to mod. I could play on the xbox 360 and tried to the other day but its too damn ugly. I don't even care that my monitor is 27 inch and my plasma is 50 inch. I'll play the comp version with an xbox pc controller.

BTW if you didn't know and you like using the xbox pc controller...

on the 360 version your weapon plaques dont work. PC they do. Also on PC hold down E to pick up and place any item, drag bodies etc.

Its so much better on PC im glad I got the collectors edition PC!

BTW its the same story with Obilvion, Fallout and Vegas. I have boxed copies, steam copies and 360 copies of most of em and still prefer PC for the mods and graphic enhancements.

This is why PC games have been and will also be better than consoles.

PC games patch easier and more frequently. PC is always better than any console system.

Weapon plaques? You mean the thing over a bed for example?

I can pick up items and bodies with the A button.

Screw that man the werewolf I tried out on my orc warrior. Kinda cool immunity to disease beastform.... oh wait beastform can't defend for shit so have to get in fast do damage and get out.

Then there is vampire which I accidently caught today on my high elf.

Weakness to fire.... hmm fire breathing dragon fights are now a challenge, this is a good thing.

Immune to Frost
Immune to Poison perfect falmer/ charus killer

Drain Life Spell
Fear Spell
Invis Spell

Heck just put on some armor equip a sword and drain life and dragur fall fast.

dont let it get to forth day though and get seen by guards because you are kill on sight. Otherwise just feed on some outlying village and vendor your stuff.

Yeah the weapon plaques on PC you can put whatever weapon you have equipped in your hand on display on one by activating it. On XBox I heard they weren't working and dont work for me. You can take off the weapons there but cant put anything back.

If you like seeing better looking NPC and character bodies etc all Bethesda games have great body mods.

Ahh I see... I never tried to manipulate it..

Does anyone know if there's a level cap in this game? I sure hope not!
