Remove GMOs from your diet before it is too late | |
| carmenDi0xide (OP) User ID: 1533059 12/15/2011 02:18 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | what do gmo have to do with going vegan you dumb broad Quoting: Anonymous Coward 5646334 we need to be eating organically raised red meats, wild meats and fish of all kind, and organic vegetables, fruits, nuts vegan vegetarianism is the most unnatural stupid unhealthy way to live what kind of fucking retard equates gmos with going completely without meat, brainwashed moran I am not criticizing anyone who eats the good meats you describe above for the GMO content, especially given that I admitted in my original post that I have fallen off the wagon several times. Obviously if you eat wild and grass fed beef and organic dairy that is better than eating beef that was fed GMOs. MEAT AND DAIRY The problem with meat and cheese in the diet is a separate non-GMO issue but yes I combined these two issues because often meat and dairy do have GMO and that is a good reason to ditch dairy and meat. The other issue with meat and dairy is that too large a proportion of these in the diet can be detrimental, cause disease, and this is 100% documented as true, as seen in the documentary FORKS OVER KNIVES. The data is indisputable. Those that choose to deny it do so at the risk of their own health. If you have not seen this documentary then refrain from criticizing please until you have watched it and have specific intelligent comments. Add the issues in FORKS OVER KNIVES to the GMO threat and you have a double reason to leave meat and dairy. The reasons I am saying to cut down on meat and cheese should then be clear. AD HOMINEM ATTACK Finally, you attack me via name calling. To reduce yourself to ad hominem attacks is sad. When anyone does it it reveals their weakness. Calling me names just tells me that you have no arguments. Look in any texts on arguments and law or a text on logical fallacies and you will see that ad hominem arguments, those that call others names, are the last resort arguments used in law cases when the case is all but lost. It's a technique of failure. So thank you for showing me that you are hanging only by a thread in your criticism of me. And by the way I teach at a university so I can't be completely brain dead as you suggest. Name calling may have it's place I just haven't found that place yet in day to day life. Perhaps if I were being tortured by someone, for example, I would then be qualified to call them a monster but otherwise I cannot think of anything that rises to the occasion. People in their relationships often do this but I think , my personal opinion, that it's the death of a relationship to go down that road. Saying that someone said something that was unintelligent or wrong is not the same as saying "you are dumb." The first can be remedied, the second is an attack on the very being of the person. Natural honey has pollen floating all in it. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1546672 Thank you for reminding folks of this. I am using raw honey from an Amish farmer. As a remedy for colds and even just aches and pains, mixed with warm organic apple cider vinegar honey can do a world of good. |

It gets into just about everything because it is the most reactive element with its highly negative charge. Ditto radioactive particles. Radioactive particles are chemically attracted to all sorts of things because of their highly positive charge. Unless you are capable of dna analysis of what you eat or have a spectrum analyzer to determine the elemental/isotopic content of your food, you can be vigilant, which is certainly in order, but you can't possibly avoid all toxins and poisons. You just can't... Someone here mentioned things to take to overcome radioactivity in food or in general. I was about to post something about this when I saw that someone else had already done so. Apparently there are things to take that counteract radiation. For example, spirulina and chlorella. That is what I use. |

I am using a Berkey with Fluoride filters. Does reverse osmosis also remove the Fluoride? I am guessing that it does but I don't know for sure. Buying filtered water or using other types of water containers that filter water are not going to take out the Fluoride. If there are exceptions, I don't know about them. |
