The problem is, the majority of foods in the US are already contaminated with radiation and certainly all the sunflowers from the west coast. Sunflowers,(broad leafed plants from this genus) are used for phytomediums to absorb radiation from the soil and water. Dates from the west coast US and all fruit, being pectin rich is contaminated too. It isnt just about eating organic, it is about finding uncontaminated food. Radiation will kill you quicker than GMO, but they are both poison. Where do you shop OP?

But seriously, it's so hard to find food not grown on the west coast. Go to the health food stores for organics and almost everything is washington and California. Southern Hemisphere food has gotten little radiation but there is little organic food from the southern hemisphere! What are we supposed to eat, if we don't grow it indoors ourselves?
