I like that group. That particular song. I found it back in the She is Here thread when I was doing some research on Cherokee traditions. Connection to other tribes. Speaks to me loudly sometimes. That was an awesome dream! I feel some vicarious connection. Maybe it was going into my creepy The Cure mood. It happens...lol

hehe, yeah it's all good, was a pretty cool dream to wake up to, still remember the look on his face, determined, like a rock, but not intimidating or fearfull, just focused

Damn been trying to find some good native drumming, but every song I find is plastered with all kinds of flutes, harpes and crazy instruments, I just want a simple back to basics drum song lol.

Pretty much the Tribal areas I was born into and surrounded by growing up. I think my mom took us to a stomp dance when we were little. Maybe I still hear it in my head.

The only contact I have had with the native american culture is through movies,books/internet, not that I have been studying the culture or anything like that, but I have always been fascinated by the culture

and the beat of the drums

Growing up in the Charismatic Church we were taught, if there was no interpreter after someone spoke in tongues, it was of the devil. Believe me. I have harkened back to that more than a few times around this gin joint...lmao

But then again. I grew up with people running up and down the aisles speaking in tongues type thing. Often no interpreter. Just listening to the so called righteous gossiping afterward after someone was so called slain by the spirit:

“Did you see it when her skirt went up when she went down. She wasn’t even wearing a girdle. Shameful.”

(Insert strong Southern voice. It makes it funnier.)

I often replay the one you have mentioned several times about the girl who laughed, and laughed cause, "she knew she wasn't wearing any underwear."
