If You Like Ron Paul, Except On FOREIGN POLICY-You Must See This!

Even if every single common civilian in the USA registered to vote and voted for Ron Paul, he'll never be elected as president.

The way things are now, there is too much influence on how things are run. Too many CEO's and other wealthy, influential people and politicians have their claws into the backbone of our nation for it to really matter.

We're really just given the illusion that what we do, say, think, or believe really matter. The guy who gets the presidential seat is the one that closely matches the major agenda, whatever that may truly be.

Most people don’t know that blowback is why Great Brittan was hit by the IRA. That is only part of it. I think that most people should support Ron Paul’s efforts to restore our freedom. Now because of the fear of blowback The United States has slowly slid in things like the Patriot act, TSA screenings, and indefinite detention to build into a country under Martial law. I think that most people would rather have the rights to fight off attackers instead of living in a country that is under lock-down. The passengers on flight 93 are a prime example of why Patriotic Americans should be free to protect themselves.

Well, his belief in strict adherence to the Constitution, I believe, is what most Americans find electable.
It is how we became the nation we are today. It's nullification makes us something other than the United States of America.

I think most Americans are sick of the constitution and would like to see a major overhaul in that old and obsolete document so we can start living in modern times instead of in the past like a bunch of backward neanderthals. It was a fine document in it's day but it's served it's purpose. It's time for change. Time to start living in today's world.

3) Even before viewing this video, most of us know we have been meddling in the Middle East since the 1950's.
Therefore NO MATTER WHAT....THEY WILL COME AFTER US AT THIS POINT.
To NOT think so is just being naive....which is the part about Ron Paul's policy that scares the hell out of many people. Like it or not, at this point....after half a century of screwing with IRAN/SYRIA....and other related Muslim countries....RON PAUL'S FOREIGN POLICY IS JUST DUMB NAIVE AND IGNORANT.

That is funny. I watched the video and it was the first quote to enter my mind when they were talking about blowback.
I don't think he is so naive to think that the military would never be necessary. And I don't think there is anything wrong with closing the door until someone comes banging at it. Then, unleash utter hell. If they came after us, I don't think he would have any problem showing them what we are made of. He just doesn't want troops over there shoving our crap down their throats. I think it would be an excellent strategy, and we can agree to disagree on this one.

If we go Isolationist...when they come banging at the door next time....it won't be with airplanes.

I like Ron Paul. He's my Congressman. That being said, on a national stage we need someone with Ron Paul's libertarian views, that's charismatic, to face off with P'Bo. Us who pay attention know what he stands for and what that means to the country. Those who vote every 4 years and vote on personality and persona, likely not.

In the last presidential election, an unknown, part term Senator with a sketch background and no executive experience, marxist leanings, (I could go on) was elected because he gave a good speach even without substance.

Why do I suspect the greater populous would vote any differently this time? It a P'Bo vs RP race, I'd support him greatly, and he may even pull out a win given the disasterous job being performed now from the Oval Office.

But in my perfect world, a more charismatic version of RP would face off P'Bo. I believe someone with a bit more on camera likability after just a few seconds of viewing, would be my contender. After all the goal is to WIN. To beat P'Bo. To pull more people into the voting booth and vote "R" on the top line than vote "D".

A mediocher on camera personality would just be too risky.

So...who would be my choice in the primary? Well, it doesn't matter. I'm in Texas & the candidate will be unofficially selected in the earlier primaries. I do like every one of them for differing reasons. In November, let's take P'Bo out!

Can't do that. Gov't sanctioned assassinations are, well, not sanctioned. (real) Covert operations went way of the dodo bird after Iran-Contra. The threat of congressional investigations from a bunch of non-military ninnies that don't have any interest other than a good sound byte and their next election makes for very few volunteers to put asses on the line like that.

As a manager I always followed the old saying : " You get

To me, Ron Paul's ideals are the same. We need a correction
on all fronts in this Nation, a 180 degree turn around from
our current Administration.
I believe Newt is more of the same policies leaning progressive. (big Government)
Romney is a progressive who will flip his stance as needed to fool the voters. (more big government)
I see Santorum as a war hawk. (no change in the scope and size of Government)
Perry I think could be persuaded to follow the puppet masters agenda. (has a hard time staying on task)
Bachman would make a great VP as a watch dog for corruption.
which would give her plenty to do. She has honesty on her side.
