I wonder if she had life insurance. Now that she's dead her college loans fall on her parents to repay.
Quoting: Mr. Toppit Not true. Only if they were cosigners would they have an obligation to pay. Your debts are paid out of your own personal estate. When a person dies, the debt dies with them. Have you tried to get any college loans for your kid lately.
