Just like the Christian cross. For the non believer it is just a cross made of intersecting lines. For the believer it is the connection (thousands of years of history, religious beliefs, individual beliefs) that give it power. |

VRWil User ID: 7144235 United States 12/15/2011 01:10 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A Christmas tree is a decoration, much like a vase of flowers at a table. Quoting: samanthasunflower I have never worshiped a tree. Perhaps you could explain us just how a tree is worshiped. Well, he's right as Jeremiah 10:2-4 states: 2Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. 3For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. 4They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. I'm afraid anything that distracts us from Jesus is an idol. (Christ + Mass, a funeral = Death). Whenever I see a wreath affixed to someone's door, I ask, who died? Where else would one find a wreath? Rev 12:9 tells us that Satan has already deceived the world. Matthew 15 tells us that Jesus warned of puting traditions before his father's commandments, and that people would worship his name in vain regarding such traditions (it almost seems that he was speaking specifically of Christmas). Moreover, if we are to celebrate Jesus' birthday, the exact date would've been stated in scripture, don't you think? I have a rule, if the world is doing it, then Jesus probably doesn't desire it for us... After all, this day represents selfishness, drunkenness, debauchery, indebtedness, idolatry, gluttony, jealousy, the cares of this world, the love of this world, etc. (need I say more?) Those children's toys are nothing more than a distraction. When one takes their gift from under that tree, they must kneel down (that's worship). Don't celebrate as the heathen does...even atheist celebrate Christmas. I refuse to participate in any of this insult to Christ, as I celebrate him and what he did for me everyday... |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 7134780 The tree is pyramid shaped and with the bright star/light on top. So essentially, you are worshipping the illuminati in your homes every year. Christmas presents are placed beneath the tree at the bottom because that's where we are positioned on the pyramid. We get simple joy from being at the bottom of the pyramid and yet we don't know how much of a slave we are. Also, christmas time is supposed to be about worshipping Jesus Christ's birth. Santa was created to take that away from people. Santa is the anagram of Satan. Instead it seems we are led to worship "Satan" every year instead. True, but Jesus wasn't born on Christmas. It is a pagan holiday (for the origin of Christmas, the Christmas tree, Santa, etc see [link to hope-of-israel.org.nz] |

COCA COLA. pfff 4. reindeer are in the story as during the winter season a special mushroom grows in greenland - you hallucinate and see flying animals. 5. Anonymous Coward User ID: 6338170 United States 12/15/2011 04:54 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The Yule season is a season of enjoyment, indulgence and feasting. Cooking Baking Gift giving Decorating Building snowmen and winter sports in places where there is snow Tree decorating Blue lights in honor of Lucifer Partying Santa Claus for the kids Shopping and more. The Nazarene as you can see has no place in the Yule season. December 25th is actually the Persian diety Mithra's birthday, for one. The Yule was stolen from the Pagans and incorporated into the Christian religion as Xmas. Pagan peoples were celebrating the Yule long before the false program of Christianity forced itself onto the scene. We need to take back our holiday!! Satanic Holidays are based upon the natural cycles. What is known as "Satanism" is humanity's original religion. The holidays listed below precede Christianity from hundreds to thousands of years. Because the Christian Church could not murder everyone, the original Pagan holidays were taken and Christianized in attempts to convert as many as possible. The truth behind all of these special dates is that the planets and astral world are aligned a certain way that greatly enhances certain workings, giving them extra power that would not be possible if they were started during other times. Covens of old met regularly during the full moon cycles and during the special dates listed below, as the planetary and astral energies were very powerful at these times of the year. In order to systematically and forcibly remove spiritual knowledge and power from our people, the Christian Church stole these holidays and replaced them with fictitious nonsense. There is a true and a false with nearly everything and one can see the glaring lie of Christianity in that everything in that foul program is and has been stolen from the original religions, and replaced with imposter characters, places, and rites where nothing spiritual is left. Another example is how fundamentalist Christians have been working to destroy the last Pagan/Satanic practices of the Yule Season and Winter Solstice, such as removing Santa Claus, the Yule tree, and other evidence that reveals the true origins of the Yule and replace them soley with the nazarene and ilk. For more information and research, type in Jehova's Witnesses into any internet search engine such as google.com and add 'Pagan holidays.' The information about this is extensive and proves beyond any doubt that these holidays have NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO DO WITH CHRISTIANITY. The fictitious nazarene has nothing to do with xmas. Xmas coincides with the Winter Solstice and the Yule season, the shortest day of the year. December 25th is the birthdate of the Persian God Mithra, and the Roman Holiday of Saturnalis. The tree, the decorations, baking, gifts and celebrating have NOTHING to do with the nazarene. These are carry-overs from original Pagan celebrations. The Yule tree is really symbolic of the human soul, with the trunk being representative of the spine, the branches, the 144,000 nadis [pathways of the vril/witchpower/chi], and the lights being symbolic of the nadis all lit up with Satan's Serpentine Energy. The star on top of the tree is representative of the risen Serpent of Satan. [link to www.angelfire.com] [link to www.angelfire.com] |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 7134780 If you chose to accept having a christmas tree in your home then you are worshipping the illuminati. Hshahah thats so not true let put this to the test. I accept I have to wake up early to go to work every day so do i worship my work? I accept that to keep fit I have to go to the gym do i worship the gym? I bought a new bed a reserected it in my bedroom i accept its mine do i worship my bed? Come on yourt stretching a bit far here the christmas tree isnt illuminatti you should look up who the illuminatti really is they are a group of people with a certain blodline if a christmas tree is anything its pagan. Thats its origins when some pagan godess married her brother then he died she made it with his dead body and bore a son who she then married when he was old enough she planted a seed which grew the tree and she would go back to it every year put gifts underneith it and honour her dead husband there are alot of other speculations as to the tradition of the christmas tree etc but things mean whatever the beholder puts to it. The meaning is in the individual person responses to the object and everyone respnds and sees something different MERRY CHRISTMAS happy new year |

hannah50 User ID: 6821393 United States 12/28/2011 07:19 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hi, I'm back. :D While I will always love and put up my aluminum Christmas tree every year (because nostalgic baby boomers do that sort of thing for the feel good 'kitsch' effect), I viewed something on Christmas day that made me think of this thread and reminded myself to come back and share because it was SO freakin' odd! Ok, so I'm 57, and Mr. Wonderful is 61. Aging hippies, if you will. We go all nostalgic this Christmas and he hauls out a butt load of old black and while VHS "Christmas Specials" from early TV days for us to watch while making dinner and opening gifts. One is from a series called 'Crossroads'. Which intro touts 'true life stories from clergymen....'[all over the world]. M'kay. So we pop this one in called "Our First Christmas Tree", circa 1956. The intro to the episode credits the Board of Advisers: 1. Captain Maurice Witherspoon; VP of the Military Chaplin Association. 2. Father Ford; VP of the Church Peace Union, Carnegie Foundation. 3. Dr. William Rosenblum; Rabbi of Temple Israel, NY, and former President of the Synagogue Council of America. Set in 1851, the story is about a Reverend Henry Schwan who arrives from Europe to take up the ministry in the Zion Church, in Cleveland, Ohio. Here's a link to another forum that has the 30 minute film imbedded. I did a YouTube search, but only get some guys lampooning it (ala I think, Mystery Science Theater). [link to www.archive.org] Worth the watch for those of you who are anti-Christmas tree, and those of us that are not, because there just might be something that gives you pause to think. Discuss.
