Does god listen? Hear our prayers?
A simple question.
Does God listen, hear our prayers. It seems he does sometimes, more on the put on hold system and i will hear you when i can.

I am sure a shit load of people pray and pray their hearts out but does it get them anywhere?

I am not questioning my faith but Does GOD HEAR US?

Re: Does god listen? Hear our prayers?
He does hear..but everythin is order and harmony..so it has to fit in with Gods plans..what one asks for

you just have to keep praying and never give up..God does the rest

if it fits in with His plans it has already been granted and you are praying for something that already is..you just have to wait for it to happen

Yes but be careful what you ask for you might just get it for example if you pray for $100000 you might get it because your son is crushed to death by machinery where he works-its best not to pray God is a pretty sick unit.

Re: Does god listen? Hear our prayers?
God hear the prayers, sometimes we use God like a supermarket we just want to buy and go.

We must spend time with God and be serious with our relationship with Him. Worship Him. Repent of sins. Get your life sorted out and walk the walk with Him.

God need to be respected He is GOD, He is not a ticket out but our LOVING GOD and MIGHTY SAVIOR if you see God Face to Face you wont be able to stand before Him He is Powerful.

We also live in times that we must wait on God this is hard times but it does not matter stay faithful to God on the end it will be worth it

Isaiah 58: [1] Cry, cease not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their wicked doings, and the house of Jacob their sins. [2] For they seek me from day to day, sad desire to know my ways, as a nation that hath done justice, and hath not forsaken the judgment of their God: they ask of me the judgments of justice: they are willing to approach to God. [3] Why have we fasted, and thou hast not regarded: have we humbled our souls, and thou hast not taken notice? Behold in the day of your fast your own will is found, and you exact of all your debtors. [4] Behold you fast for debates and strife. and strike with the fist wickedly. Do not fast as you have done until this day, to make your cry to be heard on high. [5] Is this such a fast as I have chosen: for a man to afflict his soul for a day? is this it, to wind his head about like a circle, and to spread sackcloth and ashes? wilt thou call this a fast, and a day acceptable to the Lord?

[6] Is not this rather the fast that I have chosen? loose the bands of wickedness, undo the bundles that oppress, let them that are broken go free, and break asunder every burden. [7] Deal thy bread to the hungry, and bring the needy and the harbourless into thy house: when thou shalt see one naked, cover him, and despise not thy own flesh. [8] Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thy health shall speedily arise, and thy justice shall go before thy face, and the glory of the Lord shall gather thee up. [9] Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall hear: thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou wilt take away the chain out of the midst of thee, and cease to stretch out the finger, and to speak that which profiteth not. [10] When thou shalt pour out thy soul to the hungry, and shalt satisfy the afflicted soul then shall thy light rise up in darkness, and thy darkness shall be as the noonday.

[11] And the Lord will give thee rest continually, and will fill thy soul with brightness, and deliver thy bones, and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a fountain of water whose waters shall not fail.

John 9:[31] Now we know that God doth not hear sinners: but if a man be a server of God, and doth his will, him He heareth.

Exodus 32: [7] And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: Go, get thee down: thy people, which thou hast brought out of the land of Egypt, hath sinned. [8] They have quickly strayed from the way which thou didst shew them: and they have made to themselves a molten calf, and have adored it, and sacrificing victims to it, have said: These are thy gods, O Israel, that have brought thee out of the land of Egypt. [9] And again the Lord said to Moses: See that this people is stiffnecked: [10] Let me alone, that my wrath may be kindled against them, and that I may destroy them, and I will make of thee a great nation.

[11] But Moses besought the Lord his God, saying: Why, O Lord, is thy indignation kindled against thy people, whom thou hast brought out of the land of Egypt, with great power, and with a mighty hand? [12] Let not the Egyptians say, I beseech thee: He craftily brought them out, that he might kill them in the mountains, and destroy them from the earth: let thy anger cease, and be appeased upon the wickedness of thy people. [13] Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou sworest by thy own self, saying: I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven: and this whole land that I have spoken of, I will give to you seed, and you shall possess it for ever. [14] And the Lord was appeased from doing the evil which he had spoken against his people. [15] And Moses returned from the mount, carrying the two tables of the testimony in his hand, written on both sides,

James 4:[3] You ask, and receive not; because you ask amiss: that you may consume it on your concupiscences.

James 1:[5] But if any of you want wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all men abundantly, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

[6] But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea, which is moved and carried about by the wind. [7] Therefore let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. [8] A double minded man is inconstant in all his ways.

Ecclesiasticus 37:[19] But above all these things pray to the most High, that he may direct thy way in truth. [20] In all thy works let the true word go before thee, and steady counsel before every action.

Isaiah 65:[23] My elect shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth in trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the Lord, and their posterity with them. [24] And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will hear; as they are yet speaking, I will hear. [25] The wolf and the lamb shall feed together; the lion and the ox shall eat straw; and dust shall be the serpent's food: they shall not hurt nor kill in all my holy mountain, saith the Lord.
