Why would the sun get mad at a comet called LoveJoy?

I can't find the link at the moment, but I believe it was in October, a sun diving comet caused a massive eruption on the sun.

Could happen again.

Found it:

The Solar and Heliospheric Observatory captured this shot of a huge coronal mass ejection on Oct. 1, 2011, shortly after a comet dove into the sun (inset, right).

The sun has completely flatlined on almost every graph... Solar winds have decreased speed and increased density.

I noticed, too.

That's why I was wondering if this comet could have anything to do with it?

So comets don't even have to impact Earth to have an effect?

We will see soon.

I dunno... but it is fact that last time this comet passed the sun, Krakatoa erupted. And the images on solarham are not what they normally look like. Every single graph is affected near the same time (xrays, solarwind, magneto, etc... all of them)... coincidence? I doubt it, but I don't claim to know.
Guess we wait and see

Thanks OP for pointing out to us about the flatline. I thought it strange to see such a large comet approaching the sun without the sun showing any signs like you usually see. This is proof of the electric universe we live in.

The political 'bullshit' is actual doom in america...

but this comet is pretty crazy... when the sun picks back up, watch for a volcano/earthquake (magma is magnetic, after all)... the magnetics of the sun have dropped and (almost) everything seems affected

It seems the comet survived it's passage around the sun.

I'm curious to see what happens next with the sun.

It would be to much of a coincidence if activity ramps up after the comet is on it's way back into space.
