Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 7042495 United States 12/16/2011 08:14 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | That's one earthquake. Are you trying to lure me into a debate? What are you talking about earthquake? The link is to a paper that describes a couple of millimeter differnce in the predicted perigee of the Moon over a time of 40 years. Earthquakes have nothing to do with it. Knew you'd go there. Are you deficient in some sort or other? Not attacking, just a question. If you could understand my thread, I have no need for an extra-solar planetary body. |
Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 7042495 United States 12/16/2011 08:16 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | fuck that shit! when I was growing up, it was always moon at night, sun in the day! and never the fucking two shall meet! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 451128 Why you believe stupid shit like that? Every part of the sky can be seen from somewhere on the surface of the planet at any given time. Including whatever part happens to have the Moon in it. The Earth rotates... you fat fuck! lol Such an eloquent, well reasoned, and persuasive rebuttal. Guess I will have to eat my words now. I'm not looking for a debate, but you're more than welcome to share you opinions as you've already done so, as have I. Quoting: Anonymous OP 7042495 The position of the Moon is not a matter of opinion, it is a verifiable FACT. They should verify the FACT. I probably can't change your mind, and you most likely can't change mine. Quoting: Anonymous OP 7042495 You could change my mind by presenting verifiable FACTS. If it's crazy, I'll concede to my own craziness. Never has stopped me before to think in any case. Quoting: Anonymous OP 7042495 Thinking about things that aren't imaginary is more productive. Ok, if your last statement is true, then be productive. Off with you now. |
F=ma User ID: 4437172 United States 12/16/2011 08:20 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Interesting... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 451128 so any idears why we could see the moon AND the sun in some parts just the other day during the friggin lunar eclipse??? Why wouldn't we be able to? The Moon is large and bright. Between first quarter, through full Moon, and to last quarter the Moon is easily visible in the daytime, if you know when and where to look. it never was in the past dummass! Ah, I guess there were never any solar eclipses when you were a lad then? If the moon orbits the earth, how, in your theoretical universe, does it avoid being in the daylit sky for half of that orbit? Maybe it magically jumps from one side to the other? You make no sense. Guess you are jsut a troll F=ma |

Ozark User ID: 1113004 United States 12/16/2011 08:32 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Forgot to add that since the earth has shifted and does more with each successive big solar event, that means it is the earth, in it's wobble is why things look different, the moon, shadows from the sun are way off, etc. It's the earth that is off. It's wobbling around like a cork on water.... Perhaps the moon, as all planets nearby are being affected as well.... not on them, so I can't feel the difference....
