Absolutely. He was kind of hesitant about telling me...has a bit of pride...hehe. But I am constantly telling him that the shit is going to hit the fan soon. As I mentioned, he's not big on conspiracies and such. :)

I looked up muster in her context because when I read the title it made no sense.

Muster means a gathering of the people, or troops, or employees, etc, like a big meeting, something like that.

It all depends on what's ahead! Bugging out may be the ONLY way to survive for some.

Am I the only one who thought it strange that we now need passports to LEAVE this country? I can understand the crackdown on people coming into this country what with terrorism and all. But why do they want to stop us from leaving this country?

If I had the money and a place to go I would get out now while there may still be a chance to do so. Where? Any place where I couldn't be found but could still ride things out. I don't even know if there is such a place but if I knew of a way to just drop out of society and disappear I would seriously considering doing so.

I don't know how bad things will get or when but in a worse case scenario we could possibly be looking at a situation where there wasn't enough food or resources to support the population of this nation. Do you honestly think they would let EVERYONE starve? What if they decided to weed out some of the undesirables to ensure the survival of a few others? They might start with the elderly or the disabled, ones that they might consider disposable. If that WERE to happen, it's anyone's guess as to how far they'd be willing to go.

Just my opinion! Not saying that things would ever get to that point but I do think it is a possibility.

I read today that our government has declared the Zeta Drug Cartel to be terrorists. It made me wonder whether our gov is buddies with some of the competing cartels, and if a war will break out over it. I found it odd they singled out the Zetas only.

Just an FYI, the Zetas are Mexican Army special forces soldiers gone rogue . Trained at the School of the Americas by U.S. Mil. This would most likely be why they were singled out..

We are used to the word muster as in get items together, I've never heard it used in this way though. Perhaps it's because I'm female and not used to military jargon.

If you are Romanian, I want to tell you the Romanian word for squeeky is one of the most difficult words I've ever run across, impossible to pronounce that word. I wish I could hear it again so I could listen to it a zillion times and maybe one day be able to pronounce it.

Yes I'm from Romania (unfortunately) and if you're referring to the word "squeaky", you're right the translation is very hard to pronounce, even for me, probably because the word has Russian origins and we are a Latin country.

I don't want to hijack the thread either so I won't say anything more after this, but when I heard that word I laughed so hard that anyone would be able to pronounce it. Even my ear could not hear it well enough! I really want to be able to say that word correctly some day.
