No I should think if the young man had taken the opportunity to be counted as not down as his Uncle tried to punctuate he wouldn't have been seen as an active target. The investigation is not fully developed enough to know if he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time or if he was actively banging. I suppose it's possible he could have used the ass kicking to hype his rep I hope not, but I doubt we'll ever know. |

My child has been spanked twice in his six years. Both times for being defiant. This is my 4th child. That is something I learned as a parent. In essence kids lack the experience to make good decisions. A parent must do what it must to protect and educate the child. Gang violence on the other hand involves hurting others whom you do not know for some kind of reward. Using violence to reward yourself is not love.
