Re: Time to cut off those on unemployment
It's time for them to face the music instead of being artificially carried by those of us still working. That way when they are forced to sell off their belongings, those of us who were financially responsible will be able to pick up the assets for some good prices.

Just like the big boys do it. It's time!
 Quoting: JesseDart

Quite right! I was compelled, without any legal authority what so ever, to contribute to the State's coffers for the last 25 years and it's only right that, now, after just 8 weeks of being on unenjoyment, that I should have to choose between armed robbery or starving to death.

Considering the complete ignorance of your posting, the complete and total inhumanity and allegience to a totally corrupt and morally bankrupt den of thieves, I seriously doubt that it has crossed your pea brain that just maybe the situation is going to get a whole lot worse, and that just maybe you too will become unemployed.

The Federal Reserve loaned 16 trillion to banks which aren't even American Banks, now don't you think that just maybe, with a population of about 340 million the people on unenjoyment could possibly get .05% of that money?

You aren't carrying anyone. In case you didn't catch the messeage of Ben, we own a printing press, it isn't backed up with anything. So where do think you contribute anything to unemployment?

Good Lord!

Are you all crack heads? Yes, it looks good on paper but when you have your house broken into several times a month (while your at work) you will think better. Do your research and think before you type. We are in dangerous and uncertain times. Give a hand up to those who need it and teach a man to fish who doesn't. The shit is about to get hairy.

and cant collect???
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 3405890

You pay into it to carry you for 6 months of unemployment. Extensions after 6 months are Federally funded by Obama's stash, which is tax payer's money. The OP is talking about cutting Federally funded unemployment extensions, not the traditional unemployment benefits that employees pay into. At least that's my understanding.

Re: Time to cut off those on unemployment
Whoa whoa, I'm not talking about killing off people. I'm sayin that those who are still on unemployment after 99 weeks and are still in their McMansions, need to be given the boot and be forced to face the music.

Artificially proping them up with unemployment indefinitely and allowing them to prolong the pain doesn't help anyone, least of all those of us who were responsible and are ready to help buy up the pieces.
 Quoting: JesseDart

Millions of unemployed out there, many more qualified and far more intelligent than you. You have held a job for too long you greedy son of a bitch. Resign and permit someone else to have YOUR job. Then you can be the lucky person living like a king on unemployment benefits. You will have so much time and money that you will be able to take a first class trip around the world, at least four times a year.

When are you going to resign and give a poor unfortunate unemployed person a job? Think of your fellow man, instead of yourself, for the first time in your life.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 7262475

If they are so intelligent, why didn't they pick a field with some stability or at least enough earning power to not end up on unenjoyment forever?

Why would I give up my job? I am a relatively young man in the prime earning years of my life. This is my time to accumulate wealth, not give it up to those who are less fortunate/lucky.

Some of you misunderstand my posting. I don't hate or wish harm on anyone. I just don't want to see the pain dragged out forever.

If I can acquire some wealth for my family along the way then I consider it a reward for being responsible while many many were not.

And for those of you who think that unemployment is supposed to last forever, think about how much you and your employer actually contributed to it over the years. Now calculate how much you have taken out... Do those numbers look familiar? Can you say Social Security Ponzi scheme anyone?

Without those of us still working and contributing to UE, your benefits would not be able to continue being extended forever. Really, do the math.

Re: Time to cut off those on unemployment
Keep in mind, while Obama says "jobs, jobs, jobs, shovel ready projects, jobs, jobs, jobs," they pass legislation for unemployment extensions multiple times. A lot of people decided to go back to school and earn a degree, thinking that process creates jobs for them. Like the housing bubble, there will be a student loan bubble.

Yes cut them all off , in an economy that is 90 % retail/service it would be epic, 50 million out of 134 million workers would be fired on the spot.

I hope you failed at macro economics dipshits get exactly what you are wishing for and get it hard ,deep and dry.

BTW, The reason why most jobs are only retail/service jobs is because of the macro economics by the government. The bigger the government, the higher the unemployment rates are. I know there are people that will disagree with me on that. lol

Frankly, we are at a point in time where the technology has raised hell and that issue isn't being addressed. It's like dumb and dumber are running the whole show. Eventually we will have actual robots capable of doing everything humans can. What then? Everybody screams about the border but what about the exportation of jobs via the internet. That really wiped out millions of jobs. The answer isn't to eliminate or control the internet.

Crime follows the possibilites of it's expression. That's what comes with technology: Exploitation. It always has and it always will.

The money is fiat currency and mostly digital. Created at the push of button! They are pushing for complete elimination of physical currency right now.

Kicking people out of their McMansions: yea, I'd like to because it's these people who drove rents sky high with their stupid bullshit delusional dreams of Snow White living the Real World. However...

The people did what they were told to do: They were marketed and sold the meme about real estate being a solid investment. I think you have to go back an look at the massive forces involved in marketing real estate. I never bought a house, and I sure as hell wouldn't now.

We talk about mind control on GlP, and we need to recognize that the media is there because it works. At least it works when people trust it. I think that's really cracking right now about now.

At any rate, I digress, but ending unemplyment isn't the answer. It's a pittance anyways. I doubt many would prefer the unemployment to a decent paying job with some health care.

Agreed.

Those of us who were responsible and handled our business this whole time should be rewarded with the assets of those who were foolish enough to overextend themselves living a life they hadn't earned.

It's time to trickle those assets into the hands of those who worked for them.

The economy will right itself just as soon as those who are too weak to prosper are allowed to face that reality.

Not all men are created equal, sorry.

Correct. Some men are vastly superior to others, and since we are undeniably over populated, what the fuck would be wrong with euthanizing them to get them out of the fucking way so people that are intelligent and productive can make this place a better world. We should reduce the population from 7 billion down to 2 billion of the smarter and harder working type.

Just think how much better the planet would be too by getting rid of all those useless fucks that aren't going anywhere anyway. Global warming would be solved, polution would be solved, and no more fucking taxes to be paid to feed those 5 billion dead and gone fuckers.

I like the way you think.

FAIL! Ok, I'm not an expert but....

I asked if you even knew where money comes from? I did not ask you where the supposed money paid to my State for benefits gets re-routed for re-distribution comes from.

Money? Where does it come from?
What is the Federal Reserve?
Who owns the Federal Reserve?
How is money created?

You cannot talk about people using the system or not pulling their weight until you understand where money comes from and who owns it, and how it's created, and blaw, blaw, blaw!

I sugges you watch some of Bill Stills award winning films.

Yup. Class warfare. People will be at each other's throats, pointing fingers in every direction except the direction from where these problems stem from. I have no doubt that's how this will roll after watching Black Friday videos. Dem's will blame the Reps, poor will blame the rich, working class people will blame those on food stamps and unemployment. Meanwhile, TPTB sit back and laugh at societies ignorance. It really is a disgusting genius. Divide and conquer.

Useless fucks?

Ohh yes... You mean elderly people, disabled people, and those who have no jobs available to them.

Excellent idea Adolph!

Honestly, well now i'm really glad I've got guns because Some Retards think the unemployed, disabled, and retired are responsible instead of Banks and Bankers and Derivative Scammers!

Re: Time to cut off those on unemployment

You pay into it to carry you for 6 months of unemployment. Extensions after 6 months are Federally funded by Obama's stash, which is tax payer's money. The OP is talking about cutting Federally funded unemployment extensions, not the traditional unemployment benefits that employees pay into. At least that's my understanding.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1556306

No dumb ass...that's a shell game...do you even know where money comes from? Obviously Not! Try Reading some of the posts!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 4594667

Actually, I know exactly where the money comes from. If you read my post you'd see that. Everyone knows unemployment extensions are federally funded. Tax payers pick up the bill.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1556306

Such as the secrets of Oz, or Masters of the Universe.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 4594667

I'm not saying people are using the system or not pulling their weight, even though there are those who abuse the system. I know where money comes from, I know about the Federal reserve. I know about the creature on jekyll island etc. I'm just simply stating the difference between state unemployment and unemployment extensions.

Don't you get it yet ...the unemployed and down and outs are created by the elites hierarchies..to be used as a social kicking post for all the others only marginally above them (scraping a living for peanuts too on minimum wages)... it's divide and rule game friend. In every country there is always a percentage that are unemployed ...so that people like you will get annoyed with them, rather than face the real criminals and thieves at the top (who steal far more than a monthly social allowance stipend)...it a created conflict of interestm to keep the poor and middle classes in conflict.

Secondly what do you imagine these people will do after they have sold all their things ...they'll probably start gangs and come after yours..just a thought...as I say the game is rigged to polarise people..especially those facing hardships.

Re: Time to cut off those on unemployment

 Quoting: JesseDart

Ok, you have a right to start getting pissed off, but it isn't because we unemployed want to be sitting around with our thumbs up our ass. If they can create Trillions to float banks, then why not unemployed? There's an obviousl problem with that though isn't there? Ok, soon everyone want's to stop working.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 4594667

I was going to argue with you, until you posted this explaining yourself better. Thanks for saving me the time. 5*

99 weeks is plenty. Although I wouldn't mind it being a little less than that; it's a number I can live with.

Re: Time to cut off those on unemployment
The Federal reserve bank is responsible for creating the conditions for employment. They have FAILED badly.

The Federal reserve bank should be forced to pay all costs of unemployment, as they caused it.

The rothschild's have scammed about 30 trillion dollars from American taxpayers since they gained control of America in 1913. just take all costs of unemployment from the rothschild's accounts.

Re: Time to cut off those on unemployment
I personally know at least 8 people right now on unemployment and none are looking for work. Most have not since day 1 of benefits.

Half of these make "under the table" money from various other jobs as well as getting their unemployment.

Most are not at all worried and say the gov. will keep extending it.

I am sure there are alot with this mentality.

I explained to one of these people that taxpayers are generally funding anything after week 26 of benefits.

He said, "Just make sure you keep working then."

I say "99 weeks is enough."
