"Let’s be honest: Israel is a colonial racist regime that has waged repeated wars against the Palestinians since 1947. Palestinians have been expelled, oppressed and mistreated, have had their land and homes destroyed. Palestinian children come of age knowing that Zionist conquerors want to destroy them. Palestine, a small country of less than 8 million people, looks out at a world where leaders of much larger nations threaten to wipe it off of the map. The Palestinian people carry the burden of years of ethnic cleansing and persecution, fresh memories of knowing that the western powers want them to pay the price for whatever did or did not happen to jewish people in Europe," he said.

“Those are facts. They cannot be denied. Zionists have forged a state on the backs of and at the expense of the Palestinians. Palestinians deserve their country back. They deserve normal relations with their neighbors. And friends of the jewish people do them no favors by ignoring this truth, just as friends of jewish people must recognize the need to pursue a one-state solution with a secure and independent Palestine."
