OP...obese people aren't generally that way due to over eating but rather, eating the wrong foods with a lack of high intensity exercise to tap those fat stores...

My guess is some fat person really hurt your feelings. They can be VERY awful. Any overfat person has messed up insulin so all their hormones and neurotransmitters are fucked up. They can't possibly feel very good or stable inside but most do get up to go to work like everyone else, only feeling like shit mentally, emotionally and physically. So show some compassion, even when they are MEAN.

You don't know why they are fat. And you don't know why they haven't slimmed down. Its probably the same reason people smoke.

We can feed the world if we distribute wealth evenly. There is no food shortage. I haven't noticed fat people eating more meat and vegetables than others. Fattening foods are cheap and plentiful carbs.

Overeating in my view can be a way to bypass dealing with emotional disturbance. Especially with certain "trance like effect" foods. And if we are eating "foods" with little or no nutrition the body is then starving for it [nutrition] and sends signals to keep eating. Anything that does not sate you should have its place in your diet reevaluated. Mixing foods may have disadvantageous results in this matter. Don't see the animals doing it much and wild [not domestic] animals are fit and lean, when we do not disturb the balance nature sets.

My mother is overweight and she is decent and kind to everyone except herself so my view stands [for me].

Others deal with their emotions in more hurtful ways .... look at the news any given day. This world is full of lust and violence.

It is common knowledge that obeseity does cost huge money to the health care syatem and to bussiness's that have to accomodate them.

An obese person will cost 10 times as much for health care. Most are diabetic. Most have heart conditions that require medication/Surgery. Most have hypertension that requires medication/surgery stents. Most have joint and inflamatory issue's that require medication/Surgery Hip and knee replacements. Then theres all the plaque and colesterol reducing drugs/Surgery bypass. Steriods for back pain.

Don't worry cause the pharmacutical company's are taking very good care of them killing them with all their toxic drugs. So if the weight doesn't kill them the drugs will.

In a SHTF Senario most if not all will not be able to run to safety.
