Well, sorry, let me correct/clarify my thought there, just now, Paul is so famous in Catholic Churches, he is their favorite. Why?
Because of this spirit, I think, because of his maddeningly convoluted talking/writings, which wrest the truth of the Scriptures out of their original meaning, and confuse everybody with another doctrine.
His writings were just letters, letters to specific groups who were having troubles with certain issues here and there, these should not have been given the same weight as the prophets like Isaiah, Jeremiah, John in Revelation, for instance, do you think?
They are not on the same level. Yet, the Church has deified the guy for some odd reason. He is the least one who should be called St. Paul, and so revered, namesaked, etc. because he NEVER EVEN SPOKE TO THE MESSIAH NOR SAW HIM!
like all the others in the New Testament DID.
Wtf is up with THAT?
i'D sure pay more attention to what the Messsiah's own brother who knew him well, and what he taught and meant, knowing who he came from/by/thru/for, than this pipsqueak wanna be disciple who goes against what the Master said, wouldn't you?
